Overpriced
This mobile home/RV park is very close and handy to go to Appomattox or a journey stopover stay to get off the road for the night. Gravel/dirt sites, fairly level. Lots of recent rain at our stay and sites were muddy. Did not use any facilities so cannot speak there. Only communication was by cell phone and owner was not eager to respond. Had to take envelope from office box, fill it out and insert cash or check only, no credit cards accepted. Amount on envelope said $50 but owner wanted $52 saying there was a price increase. Owner stated cable TV and WiFi were included. TV was a handful of ancient tv shows, not even a news channel, plus only a couple of sites actually had the cable hookups and we had to get out of our car and find them. WiFi was non existent. Called owner three times and texted twice, found out there really wasn’t any WiFi. We paid $52 for this site and felt taken advantage of since we did not get what we paid for.

Very functional facility. No frills. Good Sam discount. Across the street from a very nice Civil War museum and within 5 mins from the surrender grounds.
Shopping within 2 miles.
Would
come back.

Great Stay...
No frills but one of the cleanest facilities I've been to. Roads are excellent and wide, turns are easy, sites are level gravel and solid, nice grass between, hookups are good and it's quiet. Less than five minutes to the park, can't go wrong and I will be back.

Good Stay
Mr. Nash is very accommodating and nice. I've stayed 7 months for work with no problems. They keep the grass cut and answer my call if I need something. I would definitely recommend someone to stay here.
