We stayed 2 nights here while attending a reunion in Lynchburg. The park is lovely, nestled deep in the woods, way off the beaten path. Nice and quiet. No cell or internet service even though they said they had high speed internet, we were unable to get connected. Bathrooms were clean and it was a new facility in our area of Laurel Pines. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice State Park
Nice fairly remote State Park that is very near to Appomattox Court House where the Civil War ended. The historical site makes for a great day trip Typical well kept Virginia State Park. Well worth the visit.
