Beautiful

Great park with friendly hosts. Campsites near us were so spaced out. Very private and lake view.

As advertised! Great campground and the loops are spread out. Camping in December is great. Our nearest neighbor is 800’ away! Oops, our only neighbor is 800’ away!! Great staff! We decided to stay an extra night. We would stay two weeks if we had the time. We have stayed in a lot of ACOE campgrounds all across the country and this one is our favorite!

I have visited the park since the 60's and have enjoyed it a lot . Back then one of the rangers would come around and collect the fee. The only source of water was a spring fed fountain. The park has grown a lot since then and is a lot more pleasant to camp at.

Great Camping

First time there and found the camp grounds great. Two campers and stayed in lots 24 and 24 which are two sites completely alone on a peninsula. Although 24 was tough to get into, it was well worth it. Staff very friendly. We will be back!

Great Family Environment

I would give Sandy Creek a 10 but of course I cannot! Our stay began as we entered the park and spoke with Park staff. That set the tone for the rest of the stay! They were generous and offered up genuine hospitality. I am booking another stay soon.

Place Is Awesome

Probably one of the best campsites I have been to!! Beautiful and every camp ground is perfectly place.
