FABULOUS
This is by far the BEST Thousand Trails we've ever seen. The campsites are secluded with significant shade and privacy. The road is paved with some potholes. If you drive slow its not a problem. When we arrived we had a lot of sites to pick from. We chose a large almost level back in 50 amp site.
Very nice check-in person. This resort has a lot of amenities, is very quiet and relaxing.
If you want a place with campers lined up without extra room, then this isn't the place for you.

Horrible
This is the worse Thousand Trails we have stayed at. There are more than 50 sites that are not working. In addition the annuals who have smaller rigs are taking the 50 amp sites. The sites are tight with several not level. Many times we pulled in and our 45' motorhome was slopped and we had too move. The roads to the site and inside the loops are full of potholes. We will never return.

Great Trip
First trip in our camper. Was fun! Great site, good facilities, great fishing. Will be back!

One Of Our Favorites In Texas
However, there is often a shortage of 50 amps, and in need of tree trimming. But we always spend a few days here when in the area.

Woodsy And Peaceful But Needs TLC
So the park appears to be a bit older and the main road is in need of MAJOR repairs. Many of the spots are closed because they need repairs and the ones that are open could use some more TLC.
Despite all this, the spots are surrounded by woods and VERY shady, making for a great camping experience once in your spot.
The trails take you throughout the woods and along the lake while the amenities are spread throughout the large park: playgrounds, basketball, tennis, two pools, volleyball, miniature golf, shuffleboard, and more.
Don't come here if you are looking for Wi-Fi and cable though because they don't have it. For $47 a night I would expect the place to be taken care of some more but it was all very enjoyable trip.

Thousand Potholes
Roads leading to site Loops are in desperate need of re- paving . Potholes everywhere, you will need a realignment when you leave. Sites are designed for smaller, older RVs. Common areas are a long way from camp sites. Access to the lake has been closed.

No internet or phone
rude people, rude old busy bodies telling everyone off. They hate kids here and have absolutely no internet or cell service. We were told to keep our kids in the D lot. We didn't of course, then were told off by fat old ladies at family center about how they didn't like kids. We left ASAP. Won't return. It's 2017 Get some wifi or cell signal!!
