Loafers Bend East

Nice place, close to Lake, long relatively flat spaces. The back in turns to get into some are tight for longer rigs. Electric and water yes, but no sewer. Showers were serviceable, if slightly primitive.

Great Stop - Very Nice Park

What a great state park right on Lake Whitney.!! This park has everything; Tent, RV & cabin sites, plus a beach area & boat launch. Grounds are very well kept. Lots of open natural area. We stayed on a pull-thru site and it was fairly level, not much adjusting required. Several bathrooms with hot showers available throughout the park. It’s off season and during the week, so the park was very quiet. Cost to camp for Elec/water with a pump station available $24 and then $10 park fee for us, $5.00 a piece. We will definitely be back.

Really Nice Park

This is a very nice state park. Facilities are in good shape and the lake is very nice and the water is clean. We didn't use the bathrooms, we have one in our camper.

Quick Get Away

Nice and close to home. Full hook ups and wifi at a State Park price is definitely nice. Kids had a blast and made friends at the small playground. Swimming area isn't great, but we spent the day there cooling off.

Really Good Park

Great SP for a few days. The lake is really nice. Playgrounds are just a swing set, but the kids all congregated around them and everyone seemed to have a good time. Some sites are a bit out of level, but not too bad. Would recommend to a friend and we will return.
