Nice Stay

Powerplant lake in East Texas that has pretty good fishing year round. Park is well kept & is kind of a hidden gem.

Very friendly staff and very cleans and spacious. We read the reviews although the power plant was heard it didn’t bother us. We would visit again

We enjoyed this state park and its amenities. Clean and kept up, roomy sites, mostly level. Enjoyed fishing and hiked the trails. It’s just a quiet place to relax, kind of off by itself. Nice little lake with decent fishing even off the bank but will have boat next time. It does have a power plant across the water, but it didn’t bother us. We are going back soon!

Stayed here several times. Always a great place.

Nice place in January

Power plant warms water so fishing was good, Nothing real exciting in neighborhood. It's a laid back place to unwind pretty much a way from it all. Power plant really pretty at night. . Lots of room for walks, Want to go back.

VERY WELL TAKEN CARE OF PARK It was clean quiet in the top ten of my park list
