Pretty
This was our first visit. We chose Paradise because the great reviews and full hook-up. Our first time to reserve we canceled due to severe storms. We were charge 25.00 for canceling. I'd rather pay the fee than get his with a bad storm. We reserved spot 26. The view was amazing, hook up easy. The site is rather unlevel. We were sandwiched in between a church group. They were nice folks. Pros: Great views, quiet, full hook-up, cabins. Cons: property needs better up keep, tall grass camping spots, tall grass near restrooms, sign falling apart. Some spots are very far from hookups. Camping spots too close together.

Nice, Will Return
Site 7 required 50 ft of water hose. Bathrooms could use some TLC. Scenic with the lake views, trees, sunsets over the lake and tall prairie grass blowing in the wind. It’s a little out of the way of major roads. Very quiet and peaceful on weekdays. Stayed 6 nights while visiting family in the area and would return.

Great Place
Waterfront and water view. 30 and 50 on some. Full hookups on some. Dump station for others. Beautiful big trees. Gravel site back in. Big and small lots of grass.

Nice views. Level camping pads. Do NOT show up with less than 50’ of water hose. Hook ups for water are very poorly designed. Very far apart and low water pressure. Super nice staff. Good fire pits and grills. When we were there many camp sites were flooded.

What Potential
This park has such potential. The infrastructure is old and lacking. Some spots have along hike to the bath house. The utilities are funky - long runs to sewer or water on opposite sides are not unusual. BUT the scenery is spectacular and the staff is great. Make reservations to get best sites and do so months in advance. But this place is one you could get used to real easy! Thanks
