Nice Little Spot

Nice little park on the Guadalupe river. Sites all concrete pads & mostly level. Staff is super friendly and very accommodating. If your on the river the wildlife might come up and greet you. The ducks are super friendly!! Yes. You will be nestled between 2 bridges. One is a highway and the other is a beautiful piece of architecture. They're definitely is traffic noise but when inside you can't hear it too much if your ac or fan is on. I actually like it. I have seen some people complain about the price. Most campgrounds and Parks in this area are going to be a minimum of $50 a night in the off season. (And that is for a small site so you big rig campers are probably going to pay a lot more) During the summer months these parks are 100% full and prices will be much higher. This goes for every park in this area so I think it's unfair to complain about it specifically to one place. In November I paid 50 a night for the smallest spot they have and I think it was worth it!

Unique, small, tight but comfortable park on banks of Guadeloupe River. Many long termers and directly under Highway bridges. Noise not a bother inside. Intrusive but not offensive outside. Full HU work fine. ATT svc fine. All concrete sites, modestly level, and paved road. Host Larry is a colorful gem who is gracious and helpful. Stayed in a motorhome with plenty of room for coach and tow. Pricey, but that's the cost of convenience and scenery.

Sent my first review without proof reading first. Sorry but I am sure you can figure out what our opinions of the park are. We love this park. We love the current park host. What a huge improvement. Its the only place we stay.
