Pull Through

Mini putt was in bad shape, sewage backed up, pull through area is very tight so you had no room. They are building out even more pads so there will be more congestion. Small pool, not a lot of amenities. Would not recommend.

Avoid Weekends

We stayed here in late May, 2021. 1st, the RV pull-thru sites are much closer than we're used to. Our extended canopy was almost touching the next trailer. The picnic bench is basically parked on top of the neighbor's sewer hose. Way too close together. 2nd, The river here isn't that big. Its fine for smaller groups and short floats, but with a full park it's standing room only in the water. Plus someone else has built another big park right across the river. So the weekend was super crowded and the river full, even early in the season. During the week it was much better, but again we were early in the season so no telling during the summer. 3rd, laundromat had 2 washing machines and 1 was broke. Pool, playground looked nice although we didn't use either. No tubing shuttle due to covid. Park store was closed also. There are better parks on better parts of the river. We enjoyed our stay but won't be coming back.

Not A Fan

Good place for kids and groups to meet. We stayed for 5 nights because we have family close by. We couldn’t invite our family here to have dinner with us because it would have cost $30 each for them to come into the park. Couldn’t access river because of flooding. Pool was closed. So it’s not like we were going to use their facilities. Just bonding time with family. They also charge 25 cents for 5 minute shower. Not a fan of parks that nickel and dime you once here! We did find one little critter I’ll post in pics.

We stayed week. It’s a fine little place.

Wonderful Spring break Weekend

First time here but won’t be our last. Stayed in the pull through sites. Very nice park with great river access. The grounds were well kept, walking trails and fishing spots we’re great. Perfect setting for small children, safe areas for riding bikes, playgrounds, exploring, etc. stay closer to the river if you can, further rv spots are more crowded with less shade.

Chose this place cause close to my kids and it was my first rv experience. Great experience, helped me set up since I was a newbie. Beautiful place and I'll be back.

Driver

Very nice park on the San Marcos Ricer. Pull thru's are old asphalt, crumbling to gravel, so we chose the newer cement pad sites. Us the backup ones in the pecan woods. Nice view of the river and shady. A Little pricey as still in season (Stayed 9/9 to 9/12) but drops 10/1. River very clean, cool, with tubing on site. We will be back.
