Easy Access From I-10

Gal on the phone was down right friendly. Was easy to get our 40 ft class A pulling a jeep into the pull through site 1 but needed to disconnect to get out. That was ok because we went to Walmart 20 min. North for supplies. Came in late and our headlights suck so it was a little hard to find our site but we found it. Was a long day and a harrowing tuff drive through San Antonio... a lot of construction and accidents so this place was a little piece of heaven after a long days drive. Clean too.

Overnight Stay

Very friendly staff. Nice level lots. Facilities were clean. Large level sites. The main office is under construction. Staff is currently using adjacent building. We were permitted to use the large adjacent lot to let the dog run free.

It’s The Most Unfriendly

We travel all over Texas and the Luling area in particular is very unfriendly to any outsiders. Just keep traveling. Just a few miles in any direction and you will find a friendlier place to stay. It not just parks its the businesses as well. We tried to eat at a BBQ joint in Luling and walked out. They did not want us in THERE restaurant. The staff ignored us all together. The so called cooks were rude and mocked us.

Had a wonderful experience. The campground hosts are pleasant and helpful. Easy access in and out and easy to find. Highway noise is minimal.

Nope!

Been traveling across country for 4 weeks, and stopped here for a quick over night. Everywhere we stayed we have felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay. The Lady at the front desk wasn’t pleasant and this is the first place we didn’t feel welcomed at all. Heading down the road to find a better place. We will tell all our travel friends and fb groups not to stop here. Lady at desk even told us they didn’t have a spot then said she saved two. Then wanted 5 dollars extra per kid. Our kids are under 10. One is 14. To be fair, we never even made it past the front desk. Completely unprofessional. Not pleased at all. Even voiced her concern that their were “drunks” in town for a watermelon crawl party. Once we said we just needed to cook and relax and leave at 7am she then offered one of the two “saved” sites; however, still felt very welcomed. Unreal.

Would Stay Forever

This place was a nice surprise. Stayed here in October 2017. It's clean, safe, quiet, friendly, and beautiful. Stocked pond right behind our spot for catch and release fishing. Clean showers and bathrooms, kitchen that everyone was using, laundry didn't work very well but at least they had it. Also, the wifi is free but I can't even pick it up on my tablet or iPhone to try and connect. Everyone was friendly and close knit. Pool was well kept. Horses and sheep were friendly. Right on the river. Would love to stay here long term.

Great RV Park

Came in after hours, followed instructions on the well lit board outside the gate, paid, and got in with no hassle. The lady on the phone was kind and helpful. Our spot was lovely, the restroom/shower combination was very clean. I would be happy to stay here again.

Nice Suprise

Really enjoyed our visit. Grandchildren loved being able to have a place to explore and we felt comfortable with their safety. Fell in love with new colt. Long term folks very friendly. Enjoyed seeing their community garden.

Love This Park!

This park is fantastic! Got a great spot along the river, played in the pool, and went into town for the thump! Owners are awesome. ????
