Cabela's no longer owns lot

The side lot, which is big and mostly level and great for RVs, was sold by Cabela's. They are currently building a country music dance venue which will use the lot. Until that's compete parking here is still viable, just not "sanctioned" by Cabela's. Buda does apparently have an ordinance against it, but the Cabela's folks said they'd never seen anyone run off, and we had company when we stayed. Quiet place for a quick free overnight.

No more RV parking here

Called today. Staff said they sold the part of the parking lot where they allowed RV parking, so no more RV parking here.

Friendly Store Say No Problem Parking

I called the store ahead of arrival and asked if I could park overnight. The staff was friendly and said no problem, just park in back which is actually to the right of the store. We were the only ones there overnight once store staff left around 11.

Stayed Overnight

Got there late, huge parking lot. Stayed overnight with no problems!
