What Steve Said...
Basically everything Steve said plus the bathrooms are nasty. My husband walked out after showering and said that was worse than Afghanistan. There are also a lot of full time residents there.

It’s An Okay RV Park
All spot are first come first serve. Even if you reserve a full hookup online there is no guarantee it’s what you’ll get. Most of the spots are roomy except there are some very narrow ones. Roads are quite rough and the access to the resort boat ramp is gravel as is the area around the top of the ramp. The ramp itself is concrete but narrow. Also, if you plan on exploring Lake Bridgeport don’t have a wake board tower or a Bimini top on your boat. The bridge you have to go under to get to the other side is very very low. If lake levels are up, nothing will go under except canoes and kayaks. My biggest irritation is the poor reservations. Even if your a thousand trails member there is zero guarantee of a full hook up site. That alone deters me from paying the membership fee. Other than the poor reservation system, it is a nice quiet park. There plenty of activities and lots of scheduled stuff todo. If 30/50 amp with electric and no sewer is ok the this is a good place.

Peaceful Campground
If you enjoy winter solitude near a lake, this is a good spot. One area near pool and clubhouse with full hookups, main area where most campsites are located have water & electric. Cabins and 'A-frames' to rent near the lake. Not far from stores & attractions. 5+ miles of walking paths. Lots of birds singing this February. Lots of families on the weekends, probably spring break and summer. We enjoyed mostly warm weather, although several nights of near freezing and a few days of rain. It is winter after all!

The access road is very rough. Park attendees very nice and helpful. Water and elec at site with dump station...all good. Sites are rustic but flat and roomy. Table, fire ring, concrete pad...fine. Not a resort but location good and amenities quite good.
