Great place for a day trip. Kept up with pretty well, but it is a really popular area for day visits. Not everyone takes good care of the trash they bring. About 12 tent pads, campfires are allowed. Lots of tree shade, decently clean campground potty (permanent, cement porta-potty). Not a huge lake, but big enough for casual boating. Fishing is decent out on the lake. And several miles of hiking trails... watch for snakes!
