Ok park, friendly responsive staff, nice pool and hot tub, had concrete pads, pretty level. Term resort may be a bit overstated. The facilities need a facelift. Also you need to lock everything up, my bike was stolen, not locked up-my fault. Lots of not so shiny long term residents.

NICE
I'd give it 5 stars, on the new side. Level concrete, not too many trees. Very well kept. Old side has narrow roads and more trees than we'd like. Would definitely stay again.

A few issues: There does not seem to be a system to check a site when it is vacated. As people were pulling in I often saw trash build-up left over. The new camper had to move it to get in. Trash bins were frequently overflowing. Bathroom/shower set up is poor design allowing water to splash everywhere setting up a fall situation. Good points: Great TV service. Close to anything in Austin.

One of the worst parks we have ever stayed at. Office screwed up my reservations, sites were renumbered but the brochure showed the old numbering system, office was closed, my package was left for us, but nowhere did they explain the number change, code for laundry room wrong, just a mess. Went into the office next day to straighten everything out and they all seemed overwhelmed, including the new manager. I was in the office for over an hour trying to correct the billing, then they undercharged me! I ended up having to tell them how much I owed, then I called my credit card, because I just didn’t have confidence in them, and guess what, they over charged me. Had to go back to the office to get my refund! No apology forthcoming! Trash wasn’t picked up, dog poop receptacle overflowed for 3 days, just not a pleasant experience! No on cares here, including management. Stay somewhere else folks!

Stuffy and Puffy
This caters to everything that isn't weird. Doesn't read Austin or authenticity. They love Class A motorhomes. Full of longterm tenants. They are starting a tiny house community so more longterm tenants will soon be taking over. Don't see the appeal.

Very Clean
We stayed here January 2018. Very clean , nice concrete pads and easy to back in sites. Unfortunately we were there when they were doing landscaping and we woke up to workers on bobcats and the scraping of shovels on the concrete. I know the work needs to be done but at least wait until 8 . I was on vacation wanted to sleep in. Also they have no camp store , no picnic tables and you can’t have a campfire. Staff was friendly.

Fun In Tiny Home
The tiny hotel is a hoot. Park didn't have a spot for us, so we inquired about the "tiny hotel" it was a hoot. A bit pricey for what it is, but a hoot none the less. Pool, ping pong, pavilions, and quietness. The park is a tranquil location close to our event, will be back next year. We had a 28' airstream touring coach, anything larger would have been a bit much to park at the tiny hotel.

Awesome Place
Staff was very accommodating and willing to help. We needed a place close to the local hospital where our son was in the NICU. This place had great reviews and looked like a good safe place for our other children to be during the day. The staff was eager to make sure we had the best spot available. Facility is clean and the pool is nice. Highly recommend oak forest RV park.

Very friendly staff. It was our first RV trip, and they helped make everything smooth. Lots of back and forth communication, and a free BBQ and concert offer to boot. This place will be my go to whenever I need to head to austin.

Pulled in unannounced. Everything was great. They will not respond to email.
