Great Camping But Not RV Friendly
Most sites are not level and too small small. Do not pick site B100! Or B103! Per a park ranger the campground originally was made for tents and has been converted for RVs. Sites are paved, clean and if you pick correctly you will not be close to a neighbor. Check out the photos and descriptions of each site before booking. Campground C is opening soon and designed for RVs. Great trails, welcome center, shops. Clean bath houses!

Wooded Mostly But Close Quarters
Nice setting mostly wooded sites again no streams running through or by the sites. Very close quarters to your neighbors in sites next to you. There is a river that runs through the park and waterfalls to walk to if you are built like a Billy Goat and can climb like one also but very pretty! Again no water slides, kiddy parks, but it is close to some nice restaurants if you get out and explore.

Great Park
Beautiful park, some camp sites are hard to access. The falls and scenery is fabulous, lots of deer and we'll maintained park. Bath houses are kept up and very clean.

Great Park
In my opinion one of the best state parks in Tennessee, but site #119, & #121 are rough. I have a 37’ fifth wheel and my brother in law has a 28’ travel trailer. These were the hardest sites we have ever tried to get into... And we are experienced campers. Also sewage doesn’t run up hill. But other than that the staff is amazing, Verizon cell service is great, and the park WiFi actually works!

Best Campground Ever
What a treat, love the layout we stayed in B loop with a group (Class A, 5th Wheel and a Travel Trailer). Be ready to work at getting level but well worth the effort. The hiking trails have spectacular views.

Reading the positive review, we were excited about a visit. Scenery was wonderful, but we were very disappointed in the campgrounds. It’s a very tired campground that needs a lot of attention. May be good for tents and popup campers but not RVs.

Love it as always! Stayed in campground a this time was noisy due to proximity to playground and barking dogs was a problem. Campground and park are great!

Break-in cruise
This was the first destination in my new tear-drop camper, so it was a shake-down cruise. It went well, but I discovered I brought too much stuff. I’ll simplified things next time and be more of a minimalist. The park was very nice and the staff was very helpful. My site, which I had preselected on line, was clean and handy to the bath house. The pad was a little odd-shaped, but with the small foot print of my camp it was not a problem. The bath house in Campground D was a little rundown, but it was clean and well-attended and there was a sign posted announcing it would be replaced in the near future. Some of the trails were closed, but enough were open that I wasn’t bored. I was a little disappointed that some of the scenic spots were marred with trash, but I blame that on careless hikers who don’t appreciate nature and not on the park staff. I do wish they had better trail maps and descriptions.

Best State Park in Tennessee
It was beautiful, staff was great and we loved every minute. Will certainly be back with friends. Our WIFI was great in our site and had great phone service with Verizon. All facilities were great and clean. Happy Trails

A Fantastic Time
What a great campground! Loved being able to just walk to the trails. The only thing I would recommend they change that the sites are listed as level on their website when none of them are! Almost all were extremely unlevel including ours who I specifically got as it stated it was level! Other than that it was great and we will go back again!

Nice state park
Office staff was friendly and helpful. Campsites were nice and level. Bathhouse was clean and they had great water pressure. WiFi was only fair.

2nd time I have used this campground. Love the sites and friendly staff. Nice hiking in the area. Be warned that there is construction going on at nature center and such. They are closed and being rebuilt. Nice camp sites

If You Like THE WOODS Camp Here
Lots of wooded campsites. Many even have FULL HOOKUP. Make sure you ask or book a LEVEL site. Many are not but camp checkin knows which one are level. Gorgeous area with the Falls and the Gorge. Not close to restaurants are shopping needs. General store and outfitter has a good selection. My only complaint was trash in the wooded area around our campsite. Come on campers pick up your trash!!!

From Georgia, first time here, found Park great! Came in on Labor Day lots of sites available during week days, but week ends forget it, unless you have reservations. Check regularly on line for cancellations. Deer regulars at camp site to be fed. Lots of stuff to do here, beautiful sights, good hiking trails, friendly staff, that keeps park clean and tidy. Sites not to close together, all sites (that I seen) were paved pads, we stayed in B 93 FHU not far from bath house. WiFi included but was not very good, no air tv, at&t good reception. Come on and have fun

Beautiful And Peaceful
This park is amazing! The deer will come up and eat out of your hand. My son had a pretty bad accident while we were camping and the rangers were awesome. I can not wait to go back :)

Very Nice
We enjoy Fall Creek Falls at least once a year. It can be crowded in the summer. Great hiking.

My Favorite Summer Spot
I drove up from Alabama just for something new. Couldn't believe how much I enjoyed this place. I was hoping for cooler temps, but didn't expect 52 low in July. Slept great! There's plenty of water to play in and hiking spots. Fly fishing fishing in the mountain streams was a first and much fun!
