Interesting
All the previous reviews covered this RV park. The sites are tremendously close together, and there are a lot for such a small park. Some of the hookups were on the same side for some sites, so our site was a pull in which meant our door faced the door of our neighbor within a few feet, so zero privacy. The park is all gravel with some grassy patches and random little trees between sites. I wouldn't want to stay here for more than a night or two. They do have breakfast and dinner. Simple meals, but very reasonably priced and good. We were there on a night they had music, and it was also very good. The food and the music redeemed this RV park for us. The bathrooms were clean, but the water pressure was terrible in the women's. We didn't use the laundry room, but it looked clean. I give this a 3 star because of how crowded this park is. But it wasn't a terrible experience.

After traveling all day just happen to stumble across this beauty ,I am pretty long fifth wheel and tow behind and they accommodated me Very well ,very clean and gravel sites Not sure all the negatively on trains and highway you can hardly hear highways and never heard a train Resturant was great ,I stay in many rv parks And all have issues but have to say this is a top notch park and staff friendly and always there to help can’t give more than 5 stars or I would

Nice Park, But -
Very nice, well kept park close to stores and restaurants, however, very noisy highway right next to campground along with trains just behind the park that pass sometimes every hour or less.

Best RV park in Nashville
Only were able to stay one night as we were traveling through, large lots, very well kept, received that southern charm you would expect. Highly recommend and we will hopefully be visiting again on our next travels.

Great Stay.
Had the RV here a couple of days while my wife and I worked the Big Machine Music City Indy Car Race over the weekend in Nashville. Had to get reservations late and the folks working here were absolutely accommodating. The park is beautiful and has very accessible. The have a nice little store and restaurant. I will be using this park again for my extended stay weekends in Nashville. Thanks bunches to the staff.

Not Big Rig friendly
Someone posted a picture of how tight it can be and it is very accurate. While some sites have good space, the ones that are tight are packed in like pickles. Roads and sites are gravel and no patio area. You might not even have room to put your slides out totally. You might wind up being door to door with your neighbor. We got lucky in site #36 in there is a ton of grass between us and the neighbors. Satellite was difficult to get but the big trees are awesome for shade. Staff was very kind and accommodating and helped us to back our 45' trailer into a site that is more for a 35'. Most 5th wheels in here are backed in as far as they can be and parking their trucks sideways to "try" to stay out of the road. They have a newer section which might be more big rig friendly, I cannot say since we have not driven thru there. We will not be coming back. We dont use the facilities such as laundry or bathrooms; so I cannot comment on those. Noise from the highway was worse than the trains.

Arrived April 5 planning on one week. My plans got changed and they went to extra effort to juggle things around to make room for me to stay until the 22nd. Great owners/managers. They mean what they say, “Come as a guest and leave as family”. Bathrooms, showers and laundry nice and clean. Roads and sites are gravel throughout and level. The live music every night is great. Meals served morning and evening. You won’t be disappointed. Rates are cheaper than others in the area and you aré appreciated. Support staff are nice also.

Can’t Give Enough Stars
Only stayed for 1 night, but it’s at the top of my list to return to. Sites are on the small side and can get muddy after rain. Trains are loud, but no whistles blowing. Nothing that was a dealbreaker for me. Breakfast and dinner are served everyday for a small fee, there is also live music every evening. For the price of the sites, I don’t mind paying a little extra to have 2 meals served. No campfires on sites but there is a community fire pit next to the office. Bathhouse entrances are on the outside of the office, restrooms looked like they were recently renovated. Very clean. Spoke with the camp host for a while and she was also very friendly and welcoming.

Good Overnight Spot
This was an easy on & off the interstate stop. Heading to the upper peninsula on Michigan. The neighbors were up, drinking & loud all night. But I figure we were in the overflow RV not the big spots with shade trees. We used our weedwacker to take out the high grass. There was respect for Covid with mask & social distancing. Even at their nightly music show. Which my husband enjoyed. Many owners did not pick up after their dogs which is very aggravating. Yes, if passing thru Nashville heading north we would use them again. We’re in a class A 36 ft RV towing a vehicle.

Very nice rv park. Large shaded spots. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Train goes behind park but never really heard it. Music every night on the patio, very fun. Out of town, but still close to nashville and anything else you may want or need. I highly reccomend this rv park for short or long stays.

Short Stay
We stayed 1 night in july. The employees were really friendly. The camp site is clean including the laundry room. The live music was nice. It's close to Nashville. Our site had a picnic table and full hookup. No fire rings on any of the sites. I'm giving 4 stars bc the sites are very close together. Our site had a grassy area and trees in between. Just be aware some sites are right on top of eachother with no grassy area.

There Are Better Campground In The Area
Yes there owners are very nice. BUT the campground is next to a very busy train track with 10+ trains running a day & night, very noisy and vibrates your rv. Plus it is located in a flood zone so you have to watch and move in case of flash flooding. There are spacious sites but there are also sites that are packed in like sardines.

The Best
Everything about this place is first class: location, helpful staff, spotless facilities and an all round great experience. I particularly like that this is not a long termed park. Many Other parks let people squat there with a load of e tea junk and toys. Not here. It’s well run and maintained. Best ever!

Not bad
Mixed reviews with this campground We only stayed one night. Spaces were pretty tight but we got lucky with a more spacious site. Staff was incredibly friendly and we enjoyed the live music on Saturday night, however, there isn’t a lot of room in the tiny restaurant/office/camp store that they hold it in. Absolutely nothing to do for kids as the playground is very dated, no pool and gravel roads. The noise of the constant trains was a little much as well

Fabulous Park
This was our first stop on the road and I couldn’t have asked for any more. The family who runs this park are so sweet and helpful. We planned to stay 2 nights and finally packed up and left after our 5th night because we enjoyed it so much. Tommy helped me replace our water hookup and made sure our sewer hookup was working properly. Breakfast is served from 8-10 every morning and supper in the evening. Always great food and a smile when you walk in the door. Thank you Cunningham’s for a wonderful time.

Great Fun But Not Fancy!
Rainy and cold when we arrived but staff not only led us to our site but hooked it all up! Couldn’t ask for nicer people. The site wasn’t real spacious but big enough. Went to lodge to eat and were entertained with a great CW band. Best homemade chicken noodle soup ever! Really talented folks in the band with a fiddle-playing gal who Buck danced like crazy. Will stay again if we are in Nashville area.
Reply from owner/manager: Dee, thank you for your review. Hope to see you again soon.

Misled
I'm not sure why there are so many great reviews. I booked based on the reviews and feel pretty misled. The people may be great, I wouldn't know, was led to my site, asked for wood for which i paid $15 for 15 pieces of wood, supposedly 3 bundles. I've never been in a tighter campground. Our site faced the trailer next to us which made for awkward morning coffee drinking. We both could not have our awnings out at the same time, there was no room. Our site was about 30 feet from a main road, anyone could have walked into the property never mind the road noise, it's a major road. In addition to that a train passes through pretty frequently. I guess we got the "better" site by the road, at least the car traffic lessens overnight, can't say the same about the train, runs all night. If you are only using your camper as a hotel room and don't plan on spending alot if time there it will be fine. The location is convenient to downtown Nashville as well as the Grand Ole Opry.

Stay Here!!!!
5 stars are not enough! Myself, my husband, our two kids and our dog were stuck on the side of I-40 with our truck broke down. We called the campground to let them know we couldn't make it for check in. The owner, Mr. Tommy drove an hour in his truck to pick us up. He towed our camper in freezing temperatures that night so we could stay warm and be safe. My daughter got the flu, so Mr. Tommy stepped up again and gave a vehicle to go to a clinic nearby. When we left the campground I felt like I was leaving family. I would stay again and again. I can't tell you enough how wonderful this family is and how they welcome you. I know there are lots of choices in the area but I promise you will be overwhelmed with their kindness.

Staff was very friendly on the phone when making the reservation and were even more friendly in person. When we called the after hours phone number (8:45pm) Tommy Sr. Came in about 15 min and solved our electrical problem with 2 adapters he let us borrow (trusting we turned them in when we left). Very clean bathrooms and everything was well lit. They gave us directions and suggestions of what to explore in Nashville when we left. We will be returning because the staff was so great!!!

Staff went above and beyond what anyone would have expected. Rained cats and dogs three hours before our departure time, small lakes everywhere. Be careful....rates and discounts quoted over the phone are not honored upon arrival. Also note that if you request a 30-amp and they choose to place you in a 30/50 amp spot....you will be charged the 50-ampere rate, regardless if you are only connected to 30-amp. Trains go by at fast speeds and are very loud. We counted 14 trains whipping through the park from 10pm-6am. Horrible night of sleep. The only positive...the two people that drove the golf cart to assist when we got there we're extremely nice. 1 star for the trains and an extra star for the nice staff. No stars for the quote fiasco.

Least Expensive & Nicest In Nashville
Very welcoming family-run park, not too far from all the Nashville things to do. It is certainly less expensive than all the other parks. The main house has a cafe, store, ice cream, DVD rentals, and music most nights of the week. They refill propane and sell firewood. The store is open fairly late compared to most campgrounds. Spots are gravel and grass, fairly level and come with picnic table. They have all size lengths to fit any size rig and tow. They will help you park once you get checked in to be sure your site has what you need. They brought more gravel in after a rainstorm washed out a lot of entryways, so they are very attentative. You'll find some of the family on the porch rocking chairs throughout the day so they are easily accessible if you need anything. There are train tracks next to the park and there are about 10 trains a day. But they don't blow horns so you don't notice them as much, especially if you're parked on the other side of the park.
