Beautiful Campground!
We stayed a couple nights on our month long excursion of the country and we’ll definitely return for a longer stay. We were able to get a site in short notice but had to move to different site the following day which was not a problem for me. The place is well kept and very clean. Staff is super friendly. You won’t be disappointed.

Who in the world are writing these negative reviews??? We have RV camped all over the western U.S. and this place is #1 on our camping list! Spacious campsites, friendly staff, spotless restrooms and showers. Whoever designed this place knew what RV camping is all about. We couldn’t get a campsite at Custer State Park so this was a WAG! The negative reviews must be competitors. If you’re in the area run, don’t walk, to this campground. You will be as impressed as we are!

Great Place
We stayed on a Sunday of Labor day weekend and it was great. Pool was great, tennis, bikes, restaurant and 2 separate dog parks. Was $50 for the night with full hook up. Also had breakfast in the morning which we had delivered. Will definitely stay again when we can stay longer.

My wife and I are members. Hart Ranch is a wonderful place to camp, or as some do, glamp. Don't listen to the naysayers! Every place you go nowadays can have a bad apple from time to time! Hart Ranch is a wonderful resort. I've talked to may full time rver's and most say it is the best campground resort in the USA! Cabins are also available! Come and check it out! I don't think you'll be disappointed!

WOW!
We were tired and needed a place to stay and were not members and this was the day before 4th of July. The staff were wonderful and found a water and electric site #2 down in the meadows. Sites are gravel but fairly level. This campground is close to a lot of attractions but I was glad we saw most since there is no reason to leave. You have everything you need it was like Home. Pickleball, tennis, pool. Disc golf, exercise room, game room, restaurant, store and entertainment and the two nights we were there it was fantastic. They have nice laundry rooms scattered all around the park and nice clean showers and restrooms. Thumbs up. It was a bit expensive, but this was definitely a Resort. Little spoiling. If you are a member the nightly fees are only $20 RV and tents $10.

Great For Vacationing In Black Hills
We stayed here for a week July 2017 while visiting the black hills. Planning to return in July 2018 again. Nice paved roads and double wide sites. Plenty of grass.

Stayed 5 Days
Treated great by all staff! Granted there is a lot of rules but thats why this place is clean and quiet! Beautiful grounds. I spoke to many of the employees and never had a bad contact. Will definitely be back! $20 a night includes resort fee as an RPI member.

Family Oriented?!?! No Way!!!!!
I found a business card in my husband's summer belongings as I was sorting through our stuff to decide what we'd take with us back to South Dakota this next summer and what we should get rid of. This business card has a picture of an older lady that is nude and says she does erotic massages. I called the number to see what this was about and she is an employee at Hart ranch resort!!!! She was try to find out where I'd like to meet and have my erotic massage!!! This is very unacceptable. We will not be returning ever again! I hope other families stay away from this kind of place and stay together. By the sounds of my husband's confessions, this lady wanted him to divorce me and come live the full time camping life with her!?!?! She sounded like she could be close to elderly aged. I've seen too many bad reports on this horrible place lately. My family doesn't need to be subjected to this, especially while on summer vacation!!!!!!!

Poorly Treated By Staff But Stuff To Do
While staying at the hart ranch resort, we noticed that the workers have no time for their families but it's advertised as a family oriented place. I realized this when I saw a young lady having car problems and I think it was her dad that came to help her. But he was rude to her and said he can't help her and pretty much threw her a tool then running to the entrance and making it someone else's problem. I felt like me being there was keeping the employees from their families. We stayed nearly all summer but I don't think we will be back. That wasn't it. The restaurant closed 45 minutes early just so they didn't have to serve us. We had to drive into town to get a snack. There is a lot of small town drama between the regulars, too. That's going to just run this place into the hole. When my husband and i went for our evening walks we noticed the same people continuously watching the same people. We really hated feeling like we were on display. I still feel sad about that young lady...
