Nice Park
Park has full hookups and convenient to NP bathrooms and laundry room were clean. Pull throughs are gravel but level. Wi-Fi is good. They serve a limited breakfast at a decent price

Decent Campground
Great campground location for touring the badlands. Spots were level, but close to your neighbors. Owners were nice & helpful. The pool was being tore down when we arrived, so no swimming to cool off. The bathrooms were clean but outdated. Overall a good campground.

Perfect Overnight Spot For The Badlands
Yes, the sites are a bit small but $36 for full hook-ups at the gate to a national park has got to be viewed as a bargain. No issues.

If it rains at all there is standing water everywhere. If you are in a tent enjoy the water. It was a pretty view. Hooks up were fine. People were friendly. Sites are close together with just enough room for fire pits. Easy to get in/out. Mostly it was the standing water that made it miserable to walk anywhere including your own campsite.

Nice level pull through. Some permanent trailers. Showers were clean but out dated. Your typical crowded private campground. Very good spot for seeing the badlands.

Great Location, Huge Mosquitos
Located just outside the national park gates you can’t beat the location. The pool is an above ground but was pleasant place to go. Store serves breakfast until 9 am. Bathrooms need serious updating. Shower stalls were tight. Toilet stalls didn’t latch. Rained every night and many sites were swamped with water but were not muddy. Lots of mosquitoes in the area (in the national park as well) so come well armed. Sites were level, tables were good, fire pits a bit small. All pull thru sites. GOOD SAM PARK and AAA.

Nice Scenery
This campground has nice scenery, with the backdrop of the badlands,It has RV & tent sites & motels with TP’s & a pool. The bathrooms was clean. My big problem with it,was the guy running it,literally came to the bathroom, when I was in the shower, yelling & pounding on the door, for me to move my car, claimed no one could go around it,which wasn’t really the case.He needed to learn to be more tactful. Also, some of the grassy places for tents, could be more level.the price was resonable.

Stayed A Week
Flat level sites with great full hook ups. Treated great by staff and it’s very close to the BL entrance! Would definitely stay here again!

Nice Campground
Full hookup, gravel site level all directions. Water clean and pressure adequate. One mile from Badlands National Park entrance. Staff courteous and helpful. WiFi works. Very quiet, nice surroundings for middle of badlands. Breakfast in office area outstanding. On my list of keepers. Can get windy at times.

Mirage
We drove down to Wounded Knee to find a parking lot and picnic area. We thought being a National Historic Site we would find campgrounds. But there is nothing. We headed up the highway through desolate country and then in the distance saw this oasis! I am giving it 4 stars for its location. The host was friendly and the spots were pretty level. It does get windy but I slept right thru it. Great value.

Excellent Customer Service
We came through in the off season and even though they were closed, they offered a spot with electric only. We needed more so they gave us the phone number and directions to another site in town. Because they were so nice, I felt bad about giving our business to someone else but in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back when they are open for the season. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable visit to the Badlands and I found that to be exceptional!

This place ended up being a great choice. Beautiful scenery, nice people, clean restrooms and laundry facilities. Wifi was good most of the time. We stayed 2 nights with our dogs, lots of people with dogs here. Not much for kids to do though.

Fine, But...
Nice sites, clean, good for kids. We didn't sleep much. The first night after a 98 degree day, there was a rocking wind storm that sounded as if we were going to blow away. The second night a huge thunderstorm; lightning, thunder and rain followed by a thorough blow dry. At least everything dried out.

Loved It!
Great location and view. Owner was really nice and helpful. Tent camping about $20 a night. Better value than other places I went to. Wi-Fi may or may not work depending on where you are. Nice pool and campground sites weren't close together. Perfect space to pull my u haul and trailer with my car.

Good value
Lower cost option for visiting Badlands NP while staying outside the NP. Walking distance from village of Interior where you'll find a couple bar & grills, a small grocery store, and the charming Cowboy Corner. They serve biscuits & gravy every morning, lunch, and a set dinner Fri and Sat nights. The RV park is a mile from entrance to Badlands and the visitor center. If you pick a site at western edge of park you'll have lovely sunrise and sunset views over the crest of the Badlands. Park is very quiet and the highway is not busy and loud. Two bars of Verizon 4G service, and the wifi is excellent at the sites. Sites are level gravel, but are a little funky as to which service pedestal belongs to which site. Picnic tables for each site on a strip of grass. There are a few straggly trees, as is common on the plains, so most sites are unshaded. All in all, a great value, especially if you stay on the weekly rate. I would absolutely stay here again.
