Meh
Worked in a pinch because we needed to get off the road. It is late November and there is only power available, no water or sewage. 40 bucks for an overnight using 30amp only is a little much

Nice Park
After leaving home a day early we found this park on Park Advisor and decided to give it a try. If they don’t answer, they will call you back as stated on their answering machine. Employees were friendly. Park was clean. Pool WAS full, clean and enjoyable. Some stated it needed updates. It appears they’re working on it. Bath house has been painted inside and out and was clean. Would stay again! Maybe 10 min. from Badlands entrance.

Good stop for 1 night. The host was very accommodating. He let us borrow a 30 to 50 Amp pigtail so we could park in a space long enough so we didn’t have to drop our trailer. The cost was reasonable for full hook ups $38 with AARP discount.

Good Hospitality
The host was very friendly and flexible to squeeze us in because it was fully booked. She only had one more hook up left at the end of the road but it worked out fine. We were packed in there like sardines but it worked out. We were thankful to at least have a spot during the crazy thunderstorm that rolled through. The bathrooms were old but they did the job. Shower heads are very short for anyone above 5’5”. The water pressure was good though! Easy access right off the highway, but not loud at all. 5 minutes from the northeast entrance to the Badlands loop! Would stay again!

Glamping...
We have a 36plus ft coach. Got a spot same day, pulled in late, pull thru spots are nice; gravel, grass, table and fire pit.
People are friendly, neighborly. Close to hwy but quiet, park sites and conveniences are easily accessed.
We will definitely stay here again.

Eh So So.
Park was recently sold to group that owns another campground in the area. Is now called Minuteman RV park. Fine for just a quick overnight but not a long stay. Pool not filled, some showers not working, one dump station shut down. The place needs A Lot of maintainance work. Hopefully new owners will fix up.

Parking Lot
We stayed here for the night only because nothing else was available I would only recommend it on short notice when campgrounds in the park are full.

Things Change...
Thought it would be prudent to provide a current review for this campground. We stayed 2 nights here and based on earlier, and aged reviews we were concerned. Well we found the CG pretty much ok. Roads were crushed stone and gravel. We were not there during rains so we cannot advise on that. Sites ok may require a block or two to level. Electrical tested very well. Water good. Yes, a bit aged and in need of update, however the office staff was great, outdoor maintenance staff a bit sketchy, touring the property with their loud p/u truck during the day, cutting through empty sites but no issues. Store and cafe’ on site although we chose not to eat there. Grass was well maintained. A number of modular / cabins. Pool was exceptionally clean. Restrooms, We didn’t have to utilize them, but many seemed to. Really need updating. Great proximity... 5 minutes from Minuteman National (Don’t miss it) and on the Badlands Scenic Loop. Good Conv. Store directly across street.

Great Customer Service
I stopped here on a close to 100 degree day after driving quite a ways. Ronda at the front desk was very helpful and said more than once that she wanted to make sure that I had a good stay. She went out of her way to check for a quiet site and to make sure I would be comfortable.
After hooking up and settling in another rv arrived on the site next to me. He was concerned that there might be low voltage with the high heat and was nice enough to let me know. I called to let Ronda know and she suggested that I move to another site without hesitation. It was after office hours and she was answering the phone as if she were still on the job!
I was able to move to another site and have a great evening and meet another camper next to me that was great to talk with. All ends well that starts well! Ronda and the other staff make sure this campground gives excellent customer service. I highly recommend staying here.

Nope
This is a very simple place. The advertised pool was empty and the plastic chairs in a pile in the corner. I guess July 3rd is still not pool weather???
The store employee was grumpy and as for what was available in the store... I think my pantry contains more. Thankfully the Conoco across the street saved the day for dish soap I was needing. It's saving grace? A fresh coat of paint on everything.

Older but clean, owners friendly and helpful.
