Great View!

Call & follow their directions! I came from east on US14 although I was mindful of the low RR bridge, I followed gps & came up the back side which is a steep narrow gravel rd! Take 2nd street turn up the hill!! Lila & Cody are great people and go way above to ensure your stay is comfortable. I choose spot 24 for the view & enjoyed it! Breath taking! Watch your spot for leveling, mosquito & flies were terrible right at dusk but after dark it was pleasant. I will defiantly stay again!

Nice New Park

New park overlooking the city lights and panoramic views of the river. Super friendly owners. Great stop over spot on the way to the Black Hills, Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park. As of right now you need to pay online if you want to use a credit card otherwise only cash or check at the park.

Breathtaking views of the Missouri River

This new, family owned campground is run by the kindest people I’ve ever met! The campground has panoramic views of the Missouri River and rolling hills. There’s a cute little spot to sit in a glider chair and watch the sunset. My husband, 2 kids, our dog and I stayed here on our way to Mount Rushmore. We regret not staying longer so we’ll have to make a trip back here. Fort Pierre is such a cool little town with so much to see and do.

Amazing view Missouri River, Pierre and Ft. Pierre. Very attentive staff. Went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. New park, going to be a must stay park. Hope to visit again.
