One and done
Very poorly designed campground with narrow roads and narrow sites. Couldn’t get one full hookups so we took one with electric and water. On our second day water stoped flowing without any warning and when it came back a lot of stale water came through, it was disgusting.
Two stars for the view, nice water view but that is about it. Picnic table was not level, impossible to bbq anything with a grill at a 30 degree angle
Unless I had a boat there is nothing about this place that will make me come back
Whoever designed this campground had never gone camping, I am being generous to give two stars but it is only for the view. I ve only camped in one other place worse than this, same design no water in NC
I pay 47 at other places and I get a lot more
Left a day early

Very nice camp ground. Bring leveling blocks most of the sites are high in the back and tree roots are pushing the asphalt up. We stayed in 55 and 58. Great views.

It is not lake front but you will not have anyone beside you. Enjoyed our stay.

This is a nice campground that was poorly designed. Roads are waaayyy too narrow, making it nearly unsurpassable, especially when so many vehicles are allowed to park sticking out into the road. Would be much better if the park would limit each lot to 2 vehicles and prohibit parking into the narrow roads. Dump stations are a fail. One station causing all campers to wait in line even if they aren't dumping (roads too narrow to pass). Bathrooms are very clean and views are beautiful. Probably won't return due to the hassle of getting in and out.

Island/scenery is beautiful. Narrow roads and excess vehicles can make it tough on a larger rig getting in and out. Clean bathrooms.

Great Find
We ran into some pretty cold weather and needed to hunker down for a few nights and found this lovely spot. The lake is very nice, the sites on the lake are nicely laid out, the inside spots are a little tight, but OK. Thankfully, the bathrooms were heated! Surprisingly, there were many campers there during the off-season.

A great place to enjoy the outdoors. Lots of sites right on the water, friendly staff and very clean bathrooms. Our family enjoyed fishing, kayaking and hiking the trails.
