Nice Park-but…
This was an OK park. However, it is not especially welcoming to out-of-state campers. By the time we paid the out-of-state fee and the reservation fee-we could’ve stayed at an RV resort. The grounds are nice, but there are limited activities. Plus you have to drive to get to the beach, attractions , or restaurants. They also had A-LOT of rules!
We would not stay here again.

Nice Park But Have Some Issues
Overall the park is nice and I would recommend it. We had to stay in area 4 (Site 175). This was the smallest of all the sites we could find and so narrow that we couldn't open our awning. Water and electric were good and reliable. Our site was right in front of an old WWII shore battery for a 16" gun. Very neat piece of history. The park is close to everything which is very convenient.

Be Aware
If you're out of State the rate is $55 not the listed price of $28 for 30 amp with water and sewer. Nice park but many sites not very level. First time I have had to pay double the price for being out of State.

Go For A Long Time, Stay Longer
Nice park with 50 amp and a great view of the marsh landscape. We only had 2 nights could've done a week easily and loved it. Nice beachy town nearby to quench that tourist urge too

Gross Bathrooms
The bathrooms need updates!
There is black mold and broken tiles.
You have to pay to shower in that filth!
Our site had garbage from the previous campers.
The nice level full hook ups site are nearly impossible to book.
The other full hook ups are on a Hill.
The W/E and tent sites are very private.
Nice playground for the kids.
Biking distance to point Judith.
During our stay the both dump stations became clogged and back up all over the driveway.

Great Deal!
Full hookups for a drive through spot was only $35, what a deal! It was a great campground location for exploring the coast, a day trip into Newport. Bathrooms are old and could use an update but they were clean. Quarters required for showers. Would have stayed longer but they were full as it was the last big camping weekend there.

Good Park
Great place, a lot of rules, but the are commun sense rules. The bath house is not very good, old, and falling apart tiles, need urgent update.
