Will Stay Again

I found the restrooms and showers clean and maintained despite it being a holiday weekend. It was muddy after a thunder shower but dried out nicely the next day. I never saw any caretakers but the campers were friendly and quiet!

At This Price Boondocking Is Better

We were here 4 years ago and at $5/night this was OK. Now at $15/night this is not a good deal. Cost is for dry camping, it includes dirty bathrooms with clogged toilets, no toilet paper, a muddy parking lot, lots of hornets, and lots of dirt. The showers are pay per use. We've stayed in BLM campgrounds with much cleaner pit privies for $3/night.

Nice Site

The fairgrounds have 3 price tiers: Full hookups with dump $35, electric only $20, and dry camp $5. The posted phone number never gets answered nor emails answered. Posted staff work hours are 11-4 M-F. Payment is on the honor system with envelopes provided. Bathhouse has separate women's and men's toilet rooms. Pay as you go shower is on the opposite end from the toilets. Facilities are clean. We left a message that we would arrive on a certain day, bathhouse was unlocked, but another camper was there. Don't know how to be assured that bathrooms would be open.
