Good Enough For A Night

The people are nice, the sites are level, most sites have some kind of tree. No picnic tables or fire rings or anything. Hot springs next door is terrible, just a pool with hot water in it (no minerals or anything).

Wonderful Park, Friendly People

We arrived late and when I called I was given our spot and just did the paperwork in the morning. Easy pull through sites, very clean bathrooms.

Base Camp

Owners are very friendly and informative. Loved the views and easy access to everything. Large spaces for your big RVs. The water was a little brown in color but tasted good, no issues with it. We would definitely stay here again!

Somebody Cares

Clean, well maintained, pleasant place for overnight or longer. Jim had forms ready for our arrival after just a phone inquiry. Great old fashioned courtesy, so glad we stopped here.

Very accommodating and friendly. I ended up extending my stay for two more nights.

This place was perfect! We were traveling hundreds of miles with no plan in place. We checked Park Adviser and came upon this place. The owners were extremely friendly. The showers were the cleanest I’ve seen so far on this trip! No picnic tables, but WiFi and everything else was great! Perfect view of the sunset!

Rv Traveler

This park is a gem. Clean restrooms, laundry rooms with owners that take pride. Full hookups with level spots. Jim was very proud of his park and was having the roads graded with 3/4 minus. If you're in the area looking for a nice place to stay I will recommend this park. This is the first park I have recommend

Very Comfortable

Very nice hosts, wonderful tent spot under a Willow tree.Clean showers and bathrooms. We were very happy to get our laundry done too. They had snacks and ice cream and ice so we didn't need to go in to town. I wish we lived closer! Very happy with the price.

Shortstop Basecamp, Lakeview Oregon

Just a short overnighter, on the way to Winnemucca, not much to stay at in Lakeview Oregon, would rate this a very nice park clean restrooms showers and shade trees if you get in early enough, cost $35 July 2017 Would have given a five if we had more grass or concrete pads or dividers between trailers otherwise the gravel parking lot is fine with shade trees.

Nice

We enjoyed our couple of day here. Clean, quit and safe. Nice to be able to have our dogs and a place for them to go. We will stay again next time thru.

Great Rv Park!

I'm a travel Nurse and finding safe and clean Rv Parks are essential. A lark is finding one Close to the hospital! Base camp Rv Park is a gem! 6 min drive to the hospital and a great Park with Super views! Jim and Ruth are lovely, a take pride in ownership of their Park. We will be here til Nov!

Happy camper

First off, new owners and new name. BASE CAMP is the new name. This is a nice little rv park with a very friendly staff. Has clean bathrooms, showers and laundry room. My kids had fun playing horseshoes & the playground. The price is right, it's clean and quiet. Will definitely stay again.

What a diamond in the rough! The 2 star rating is very misleading. ..I rate this place at 4 stars. After traveling for many hours we came across Base Camp (Hunters) and found the place clean and comfortable. But the true gems are the new owners Jim and Ruth. Upon arrival they greeted us with a smile and offered us any spot available and to our liking. They became the new owners in May and are working very hard to make the RV site A1. I would definitely stay here again.
