Slab City RV Park
Glad I’m only here for the night. This place is one big asphalt parking lot that’s been divided into parking stalls. Most spaces are adequate probable 25 ft. Wide and depending on site 25 to 40 ft. Some of the sites are sloped for drainage that you may need to use leveling blocks to level up. There was water, electric and water. We used the laundry which was clean and cost $2.00 per load to wash and $2.00 + to dry. My only big downside it the lady checking in took forever to get us checked in and they want way to much info. Be prepared to give you VIN# as they are particular about the age and condition of your unit. I thought for a minute she was going to ask for a blood sample. I was given no chance to view my assigned site (1st one) and it was so sloped that I couldn’t level my coach. Moving to another site was almost forbidden. It had to be the same price so she didn’t have to refund and recharge for another site. Overall after getting situated and curtains closed it was ok.

Our Stay.
Sure, a "parking lot with picnic tables." Really nice greetings, amazing foods, and beautiful finds for those looking. Be ready to enjoy some fishing and crabbing. Had a great stay.

A parking lot with picnic tables. Walking distance to docks, crabbing and restaurants. Very clean. Operated by Port of Coos Bay.
