Good compromise for both Elk Lake & Hosmer Lake, central to both. Also room for bigger rigs. Both lakes interesting for paddlers. Downside is that you need to bring your own water. This area is known for mosquitos in early summer, so bring repellent and be prepared for them. Fantastic Cascade views everywhere. Store close by at Elk Lake Resort.
