We have been parked on the west loop of Belle Star State Park for 7 days now. We have had a great stay with clean bathrooms and showers. Even though the bathrooms didn't have a trash can ..

Disappointed
For a COE campground this was not up to par. It may be a little older than most, but we stay at LOTS of COE campgrounds, and this was definitely at the bottom of the list. We needed 2 drinking hoses, one 50' and one 25', to reach from the spigot to our rig. I saw one site where they had to run their hose across the driveway of another site to reach their rig. Bring extra hose. Most sites are the same, except for the ADA accessible sites. The power pedestal was on the wrong side, too - it was located right outside our entrance door. The showers had no soap dish, so you have to just lay your soap on the floor. One bench seat for everyone to change clothes and hooks only in the community portion to hang clothes. No sink or mirrors to comb your hair after shower; you have to go outside and then into the toilet area for that. Showers were hot and got hot quickly. No directions to exit the CG, we had to get Google maps out and follow that to find our way out.

Great park. C loop is the best with level concrete pads big enough for most any rig. Lakeside views and lots of hiking. At $22/nite or $11 with senior rate, you can not go wrong.

Many great memories here! Rad site, many sites have sand on them, which we love. Big roads, easy to navigate loops, and clean. The beach we stay at is so perfect, we have to book it a year in advance!
