We stayed here one night on our way through the country.
It is a nice, small and quiet campground, directly on the lake. The city is nearby with everything you need.
Showers and clean restrooms available. We booked site 3B but the electric hookup was way to far for our electricity cable. We called the rec center to switch sides which was no problem. Very friendly camp host on site. We would stay here again.

Nice, quiet city park right on the south end of the lake. Good electric and water, but water hookups are some distance away. Layout of sites is confusing so drive around the loop before choosing a site. Most sites are in a large “parking lot” backing up to trees. Dump station is over by the bathrooms and dumpsters, and looks adequate. Didn’t use restrooms so can’t rate them. City staff come through the park regularly and are helpful and pleasant. View of the lake is lovely, but wish city would trim the brush and weeds so you could actually walk down the hill to the lake and that they would have staff clean up blowing trash that inconsiderable campers leave behind. The app doesn’t navigate you to the campground (takes you to the park). Take Lake Drive to Prentice, then go a short distance and take a left at the “Y” and you’ll see the sign/campground on the right. Close to restaurants and shopping. Would come here again! Thanks Ponca City for providing a nice park!
