Friendly But Needs TLC
Lovely staff but this KOA does not live up to KOA reputation. Very disappointed. Run down campground, old picnic tables, pool closed on Aug 21 when it’s 102 degrees!! Restroom code is 9 digits long!! Why?!?? Air TV only, not the best. This place is convenient off I-40 but owners need to invest some money for overall improvements/appearance. KOA should evaluate this status.

A well organized basic CG that has everything you need including a bar and restaurant. Ate a very tasty pizza there last night but, since it was Sunday, I couldn't sample the beer selection. My site was level. No cable but plenty of OTA TV stations. Wifi worked fine. Has a nice pool. Would definitely stay here again if passing through the area.

Rambling Randy
Wow! What a terrible experience. Park was medium to poor. Dogs without leashes, scary for my little dog. No power in showers. Outlets didn't work. Worst of all someone busted out driver side and passinger side windows in my motorhome. Office said it was the wind, mine was the only one out of around 45 others. The glass man said more likely vandals. After the windows got replaced I ask if I could be moved closer to the office. They never responded, so I just left. Very scary place. Amazed it's a KOA. Beware! Been traveling in my motorhome for 2 years. Worst experience I've had. Lucky I gave them 2 stars

Nice Overnighter
Decent park for enroute stays. Main gripe is lack of cable, virtually nonexistent wifi and the park seems to be in a broadcast tv dead spot. Without satellite, you are forced into book reading. They do have a nice bar that serves food.

Not HAPPY
This was not our first stay at this KOA. But , previously we just stayed overnight. This time we were there for 2 days. We never saw our "hosts" except when I went in the office to pay. There were 3 families occupying 2 camp sites beside us with several small children and 3 large dogs that were allowed to roam free including in the playground that had a large sign "no pets in playground". The dogs were in other peoples campsites, including ours. There were limbs down in some sites, no cable tv. All in all it looked liked it needed some TLC. I don't think the park is up to KOA standards. We love staying at KOA because we know what to expect, but this time we were disappointed.

Tv Was Great
TV reception was great. Sites could be better tended. Donuts from store were so old they were inedible. Pool is 3/4 full and green ok for a night stay.

Great Campground
Sites are on the small side, but for an overnight stay they are pull through and level. The pool is nice and the bathhouses are incredibly clean and will maintained. There is a nice playground for younger children. Overall we had an excellent stay and will stay again if we are paying through.

Nice Stay
Right off I-40 on historic Route 66. Clean camp. Friendly host. Nice little store, restaurant and even a bar. Decent amenities. Walking distance to Lake Clinton. Pet friendly. We spent the weekend but appears to be mostly an overnight stop off for most. We enjoyed it and recommend it.

Nice and Quiet
Came back to this park cause we liked it before. Hostess was very nice and helpful. Spots are wide and for the most part level but I just don't get why park hosts and hostesses park everyone on top of each other when there are lots of sites and only 5 RV's!!??! It did fill up slightly later, but they only parked those newcomers on top of the rest of us already here! Clean and remodeled shower area and laundry is small but loved the big commercial dryers!! We'll be back.

Great Stay
We stopped here overnight. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The campground is well maintained. Easy on and off the highway and easy to navigate in our big rig. Nice big dog park. There is a walking trail from the campground to the lake. We enjoyed having the cafe on-site. We had pizza for dinner, and then the next morning had fresh-cooked egg muffin and breakfast burrito. There is also a nice gift shop and DVD rentals on site. Highly recommended.

A good KOA
I was traveling from Las Vegas to St. Louis when I stopped for the night. He gave me a pull thru spot under a street light which was nice as I broke camp in the pre dawn hours. The campground is nice with several large trees on it. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice little spot to stop, right off of 40, easy to access pull through sites. Nice swimming pool, cute little pub/ deli and laundry in the store. Clean bathrooms, dog park. Gracious, pleasant staff made us feel so welcome we stayed an extra day.

Nice Older Camp
After reading the reviews, we really were not expecting much...but we were pleasantly surprised. The grounds were neat, utilities worked fine, sites were level, pool was nice, laundry was fine. It even has a small lounge where you can enjoy pizza, wings, salads, etc. We order pizza to take to our unit for dinner and it was good! The little store has a nice selection of cards, postcards, souvenirs, tshirts, a few RV supplies, ice and some food items..even ice cream. The sites were shaded and there was a large dog run area with a swing in it for you to enjoy the cooing of the doves and watch your pups run around in plenty of space to exercise. There is a tiny dog run closer up to the front, don't think that is the only one! Our dogs did not get a single burr! Not sure where other dogs went but ours were fine. It is a bit older campground but we were very pleased with it...after all it is directly on the Historic Route 66! Very easy to find, road noise was not an issue for us in our unit

What WIFI
WI-FI is sloth like. Remember dial-up? Sites are very small. Couldn't get cable to work (my bad I am sure). Although this isn't our first rodeo with short-stay campsites, this was our first KOA stay. We've never before stayed with KOA's due to KOA prices, and the mystique of ho-hum dated facilities. In good faith anyone rating this place more than 4 stars have very low standards, are on-the-take, or don't mind overpaying for service. Advertising wifi when it doesn't work is like advertising sewer, water or electric hookups that don't work. The staff are 5 star nice, and try digently to place a good spin on their ratings, but it is what it is, a KOA. The sites are clean and contrary to other posts; they are not manicured, not spacious, and not resort-like. During our 2 day visit, I saw "no one" representing the camp in the camp area's, cleaning or otherwise checking security, or doing maintenance etc. The place is just simple and small.

Late Arrival
Came in late, information to check in was left for us as stated from the clerk when we called in to reserve. Nice and clean, easy to find our spot and dogs enjoyed the grass. They also have cute cabins for rent.

Good Overnight
Just what you'd expect from KOA. Clean, level paved spaces. Quiet plus lots of amenities. Quick in & easy setup. Nice staff. Pricey but typical for a KOA. Good while you are on the road and want a worry-free night.
