You Decide.
Absolutely beautiful, peaceful, everyone was kind. Pool is amazing. Downside: parking in dirt, and no one sprays, we were infested by ants. I would suggest, if you go, bring a bug killer and douse your parking spot. We went to leave all the hoses were covered by ants. They made their way to the sky bunk, dashboard, kitchen, bedroom. As we r leaving, we r still finding/killing them.

Birthday
Spent 2 weeks. 42 ft toy hauler with slides and side porch. Had to get different site than reserved, but was not a problem. Staff was beyond friendly and helpful. Had back porch out and plenty of room for parking. Wifi costs, but good phone and antenna reception. Great crabbing and fishing. Bathhouse tight, but clean. Hot water with good pressure. Definitely going to stay again.

Relaxation Station
Stayed here Thursday-Sunday; August 8-11, 2019. Very quiet Thursday and Friday, Saturday a few turned it up, but not over the top. They have added washers&dryers on both sites now $1.00/wash and the dryers run :45 minutes;3 washers/4 dryers at each building. They can get back logged as you noted, it’s a pretty big camp site with the usual number of full-timers. Plenty of shaded lots. We really enjoyed the time here. Staff were great. Store could use a few more stocked food items and ice cream was a welcomed treat. Don’t miss Backwater Jacks and Grub Brothers. Twin Lakes is on our list to return.

Passing Through
We stopped here for the night on our way to Virginia Beach. The office staff were great! The kids enjoyed riding their bikes, the playground and fishing. The bath houses were fine. With so many campsites, I feel they could use a laundry facility in the area of the park we were in. There is only one on site. Would definitely stay here again.

The rating would have been lower but Twin Lakes Camping Resort did allow my brother and I to reschedule our camping trip three times. Eastern NC has received a lot rain in the past few months so it was to.be expected that the ground would be damp but I didn't think they would our travel trailers in mud holes. I told them it was very wet but the employees acted like, of course it is it has been raining. There ended up being a low spot right at my door. Every time we took the dogs out they became a muddy mess. To make matters worse the camp ground wasn't even full. There were sites left and right of us bone dry that were vacant. The first time I tried to dump some gray water they septic started to bubble up like it was full. I told the employee and he sucked it out but the next day when I tried to dump to leave black and gray water starters coming up. Now there is waste eager on the ground. It was a mess.

Nice campground. Lots of permanent sites. No dump station but they do offer a sewer pump-out service on sites without sewer hook up. Awesome place if you have a boat. Friendly staff. Definitely a campground I will stay at again. Bring your fishing pole. Reasonably priced for all they offer!

Came to twin lakes to get away for a few day and was pleased with what I found. Great people nice park the only negative is there needs to be some tree trimming and removal of dangerous dead trees

Disappointed
They need to check that each lot is cleaned, key cards work and the water, sewer and electric hookups are all in working order before campers arrive.
