3 Nights At Goose Creek State Park
Stopped for 3 nights on our way back north. Sites are very nice with plenty of room. There is no shade at the campground. The full hookups are great. Lots of trails to walk. The sites are gravel and level. The roads are paved. The bathrooms are spotless. As nice as a good hotel. We are here is mid March so bugs are not a problem. It is a very new campground.

Three Very Nice Days
Goose Creek State Park has to be the most perfectly planned campground I’ve ever stayed in. I could hardly see my two neighbors on either side. All the hook up’s were in perfect working order and there is even a lantern hanger near the fire ring. The showers / bathrooms were spotless and completely tiled. There is one down side even though it didn’t effect me and that is the lack of shade. There is very few trees in the camping area. Finally, there is a nice quaint city (Washington) that has a very nice Main Street and river walk.

Great Upgrade
Checked out newly opened RV sites and Cabins. 22 RV FHU sites are deep with a gravel surface. 6 rustic cabins with grill, table, and fire ring. 1 ADA cabin and 1 ADA RV site adjoining the bathouse. No dump station since RV sites are all FHU. Many hiking trails available.
