Pretty Nice CG
Campground is divided up to 4 loops: C &D loops for tents, B loop for smaller rigs (vans, pop ups, etc) and A loop for bigger rigs (trailers, motor homes, etc). Though A loop still has more small sites than large sites. 🤨
Flush toilets and running water sinks. Supposedly they have showers, someplace, but we never found them...didn't look too hard, either, though. Mostly back ins, but a few pull throughs. Some "pull through sites" are just wider areas of the road. Be aware when booking, the length they give for those sites are from where the road just STARTS to widen. It may say the site is 40' long, but if you use the full 40' your corners will be sticking into the road on both ends. Only about 20" is usesble. Ask me how I know. Most sites are shady, but a few are ok for solar if you use that. Close to hiking, overlooks, and Mt Pisgah Inn with a pretty good restaurant. There is a dump station that may be sporty for larger rigs to get into (which we are). Did not use.

Now This IS the Blue Ridge Parkway!
Spent 3 nights with my daughter and 2 grandkids. This is a very clean and organized park. This is one of the jewels of the National Park Service. Even though It was Labor Day and every single spot was taken the Rangers had everything under control. The presentations every night at the amphitheatre were great. Remember to make sure you have water onboard and plenty of solar! (You can have generators, even though I didn't hear any). No cell service unless you go over to the General Store across the road. Want to get away! Dis ez da place!
