Stayed A Couple Nights
Called last minute for a couple of nights, Joann was accommodating. She said call when you turn off on Mtn Meadows Rd she would meet us on the road escorted to the site, easy check-in. No amenities, but fine for a couple nights. Visited White Sands National Park, Pistachio Museum and took a nice scenic drive to Cloudcroft on Hwy 82. Winding & hilly. The town was friendly and cool.
The campground was a great base.

Wolfie Says
Come in on mountain meadow road and no problems, T-Mobile service top notch with 8-10mbps data, no cable but ota very good, shortage of 50amp hookup, we settled on 30amp which this time of year is fine but if here during summer 50amp is a must for 2 a/c rigs. Very quiet as we are some distance from main road. The answer is yes I would stay here again. Oh and park WiFi is ok at 1-2mbps. The hosts /managers Jack and Joann are great. If your GPS says rattlesnake rd. STOP and recalculate, come in on mountain meadow road, rattlesnake rd will bring you thru a huge ground dragging dip, high clearance vehicles only.

Never Got To Stay
When we called to make our reservation they didn’t tell us the road was out. We drove up the road to find it close, then had to call back for a detour. They gave us a second way to get in. When we got over there, a river was running over the road. We called back and they said that we needed to cross it anyway. I was too afraid to cross it because of the type of RV that we are in. Luckily for us, Boot Hill RV down the street had a place for us to stay.

Stayed An Extra Night
We wanted a park near Alamogordo, to visit White Sands NM and several museums in the area. Mountain Meadows is nicely out of town, with a good view of the mountains to the east and sunset to the west.
The owner, Crystal, is as helpful as can be. There are only two bathrooms, but they are huge, with a large shower in each. We never had to wait for a toilet, and luxuriated in the showers each night. The laundry is part of the same building, and there’s a load of books, board games, and DVDs to borrow.
Happily we called to reserve a spot for our Tuesday arrival, as there were only two sites left. We stayed an extra night, but chatted with some folks who had planned on a two week stay but stayed for three.
We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

Good Spot Between Alamogordo & Tularosa
Quiet RV Park away from highway and railway noise with lovely mountain backdrop. Good facilities and warm welcome on windy, after-hours arrival. PA OK for those who have it.
