Wow
I sure wish I would have know about this place sooner. $40 total and 50amp service with large spaced out pull throughs. I didn’t realize how massive this place was until I drove back to the site. 2 different camp sites. Awesome views, bummed I couldn’t stay more than the one day, already made reservations elsewhere. You don’t have to be an NRA member or anything like that either. Open to the public. I just really wish I had time to look at all the facilities they have, and actually get some shooting in. Next time. Thanks for the stay.

Quiet & Relaxing
Huge full hookup sites that are well spaced out. The views can't be beat especially at sunset. Lots of wildlife wandering through the RV park. Well worth the 10 minute drive off of I-25 even if you don't take advantage of the premier shooting facilities.

Great Place
If you are a shooter or photographer this is your place. Rifle, pistol and shotgun ranges of all kinds. I shot regular and 5 Stand sporting clays. Great courses. Large elk herd, trophy mule deer, turkeys and quail for the photographer. Excellent hiking up around the old coal mine. They have a 50 amp and 30 amp park so the little guys aren't jammed between the big guys. Gravel sites. Restrooms, showers, laundry room are in the 30 amp park and meticulously maintained. The only downside is after snow/rain the main roads turn to muck, thus 4 stars. Daily rate was $35 plus tax. Reasonable fee to use the rifle/pistol ranges. Sporting Clays was $10/25 birds. Not sure about trap or skeet. Front gate manned 24/7.

GREAT STOP
33,000 acres. 17 different ranges. Great RV stop. 100’ long. 50 AMP pull through, sewer and great water pressure for $35. Will definitely come back.
