Great Campsite
The road in here seemed a bit long but was well worth it. It's FCFS and only 10 sites but we thought would b ok as it was February. There were only 2-3 others there. Very quiet. Pit toilets were very clean. No Rangers around as they r only in the area late in the week. Sites have covered picnic tables and were generally level. We walked our dog around the circle. Felt pretty safe even though it's very remote. Internet was ok but limited bars. No water but we were good. We liked this campground so much we relaxed a bit, went into town of Grant's and did laundry. Not sure what the name of the laundramat was but folks weren't very friendly... we folded quickly and got out of there. Joe Skeen is real close to the Sandstone cliffs site and the V Arch site down the road. We spent an afternoon going to both. We would def stop here again but maybe not in the busy season.

Great Campground
We stayed here on 3/19/2021 in our 18 foot TT. Pulled in around 3 pm on a Friday. There was only 3 sites left and got lucky to get the last pull through site, facing the east. It is first come first serve, and is free. There are 2 pit toilets. All the camping sites have a covered picnic table, a BBQ grill and fire pit. There is also a small over flow lot at the entrance to the campground that we saw 2 people use. Will definitely stay here again, both for an over night heading someplace else or for staying a few nights to check out the area. There is no water or dump station.

Beauty for Boondocking
Really beautiful site. Stayed in early January. Like everyone says, 10 spots, first come, first serve. Very remote with great access to the Sandcliffs close by. I'd stay here before anywhere else in Albuquerque if I had one night to boondock. Check out our travel blog: http://triplelacres.com/Lillback1/

Nice quiet campground, clean pit toilet, dark night sky and a vista view. Sites filled up by evening on a cold Sunday night in March.

Awesome
Awesome site, clean and each site comes with picnic and shelter. All of the trash bins were locked up. Other than that, dry camping is great there and it’s free!

Free And Big
We had a really nice and quiet stay for one night here. It was a free campsite. The 1 we chose was a pull through because we were towing our vehicle. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. The views are gorgeous. Come early or you may not get a spot. There are only 10 spots with covered tables and cement slabs, but there are dispersed campsites a little farther down the road.

This camp ground is a real gem. We arrived and only one other camper... we stayed 2 nights because it was so beautiful and quiet. More campers came the second day which was fine. Well maintained campground... very clean toilets. Several great little hikes close by.... fantastic area!

Nice clean sites and facilities. Great place for our first night dry camping and would come back again. Road to sites could be difficult in bad weather.

A Good Overnighter
This is a no fee campground of about 10 somewhat level gravel sites ... bring your blocks. Pit toilets are relatively clean. Picnic tables, some with shelters, and fire rings. No water, no power. LONG RIGS BEWARE! There is a dip in the access road just off the highway that could cause a problem. The road is quite rough. This place is quiet and the stars are bright!
