We are staying the night, owner was very helpful, told us to pull into space 22 that he wasn’t going to be there , we got all set up and he called us back to make sure we made it ok. Again very nice and helpful. There are several trains but we are so tired I don’t think we will hear them. We would definitely stay here again if we pass this way. Chuck 8-8-23

Water/elec Only
Great overnight for the self contained. No showers or bathrooms. After the choice of $50-75 nightly full service parks or boon docking on blm land, this is ideal for me. Rv parks are charging as much as motels now so minimum service overnight finds like this are so very appreciated. $20 night. I parked in the back. Heard the occasional rumble of trains. Ft. Sumner is not so busy overnight that an interstate highway roars. This is going to be a favorite stopover for me as I travel for work throughout Texas and NM.

Nice Stopover
Nice RV park for those over night stays. Very affordable. Water/50 amp/sewer. Grassy area for dogs. Super nice folks run the park also run the Billy the Kid Museum. The museum is pretty cool and so is his grave site. There is a small grocery store close by and the people who work there are extremely friendly. Would stay here again.

Not Much
Not much more than a parking lot. Electric, water and sewage. Basically anything that doesn't require attention from the owners. Clean, but noisy. No bathrooms so if you're not self-contained forget it. A most forgettable place. Pass it by if you have any other place to stay.

We stayed overnight in our RV Trailer. Very Quiet even though near center of town.
Price was just right for what it is. Close to Billy the Kid Museum.
Owners friendly

Stayed at this park one night. It was next to the Billy The Kid Museum. It didn't have showers or a pool and the cable tv was no longer available. The park is near the railroad tracks and the trains run constantly so we didn't sleep well at first. It is a good stop for larger rvs because it has long pull through spots.
