Bathroom/showering Excellent
Came here to stay a few days for the NPs nearby in early summer. It was windy and a little dusty. Most sites have no shade. The awnings cannot stay out because of the wind. The RV sites are ok with fine white dust when walking on. Will consider staying here again when coming back.

Nice Park Level Sites
Had full hookup, even free cable which worked. Used laundry, clean and machines I used worked well. Staff was friendly and even advised on things to do. Park tidy, they even went around spraying the weeds one day. If you like Mexican, eat at El Jimador restaurant. Order #2. Outstanding.

Bare Minimum
We got a back-in site, apparently our rig+toad was too long. FHU sites appear to be on the road. Most staff members were friendly and helpful, others not so much. We spent two nights. This campground is conveniently close to the CCNP and the Guadelupe Mountains NP.

Nice, well maintained park. Very clean new restrooms and good laundry facilities. Friendly staff too!
Very nice gravel on roads and RV sites. Close to Walmart, but not a Super store, so no groceries, etc.
Goid proximity to Carlsbad Caverns NP and Guadalupe Mountains NP.

Highly Recommend
A little overpriced, but worth it. Level gravel sites (we did not need to level our motorhome), many with trees. Friendly and helpful staff. Large, clean laundromat with good machines. Brand new, super clean, very attractive showers, toilets, etc. Has pool, but we did not visit. Would definitely stop again. Appears many improvements have been made.

Good Stay
All gravel, mostly pull throughs and a bit close together. However, they are rebuilding the restrooms, and have a very good laundromat. Close to stores, restaurants and close enough to Carlsbad Caverns to make it s good place to stay.

Good Location
Great location if visiting Carlsbad Caverns. Some sites are a little compact but we had a good site. Park is well maintained and staff friendly and helpful. Great WiFi. Would stay again.

Sparse But Adequate
$52.50 per night for full hook up, back in, level gravel site with cable and WiFi that works well. 10% discount for Good Sam members. Not much to do at the park itself. Pool is closed now due to COVID. It is a good central location to Guadalupe Mountains, Carlsbad Caverns, and Roswell. Plenty to do in town. They have laundry on site as well.

Poison
Okay RV Park for the price with all the amenities and it's clean..... However on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 we rolled in after an outing into a green RV spot because the rocks were sprayed green with poison. I asked the guy spraying what it was and he said it was weed killer. It was sprayed all over the grounds for several hours I got dizzy from the fumes. Not really sure what world this is okay in.

Two Night Stay
The staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were dated, but clean. If you are visiting the Carlsbad Caverns National Park, it’s 15 miles to the turn off to the park and another seven miles to the visitor center. The highway to the park is four lanes (two each way) making the ride fairly quick. The spots were large and level. Plenty of room to move around. Wi fi worked great.

Covid Camping
I understand that the state is on a partial lockdown, but this place has almost no amenities. Ok for a day or two to explore the caverns, but outside of that - it’s got nothing.

Best Place To Stay In Carlsbad
Just rolled in for a 3 night stay. Easy check in, very friendly and helpful staff. Level gravel spots with several pull throughs for Class As and large units as well as back in spots. Facilities are in great condition, great cable and WiFi and three dog parks located around the park. Would stay again for sure. Only 20 miles from the Caverns.

Best One In Carlsbad Area
This RV Park, is not some top notch RV Resort. However, you won’t find any of those in this area. However, this park is very good for the price. Nice big level sites, easy to maneuver, helpful staff, cable and excellent wi-if. Compared to the other RV parks in the area, I strongly suggest staying here and definitely call in advance. There are many work campers in the area that tend to fill up camp sites.

Best Near Caverns
Decided to visit caverns last minute while going across country. Called two days ahead made reservations all other camps were full. after arriving and seeing other campgrounds this looked to be the best at least we did have a little tree. Sites gravel ,level, full hook up, cable , very close. Staff very helpful escorted us to site (pull thru), and helped park. Wouldn’t let us check in until 12:30 ( ???). Bath, laundry, and pool keyed entry. Walmart and restaurants nearby, giving only a four star due to strict rules an cable didn’t work

Nice
Stayed two nights for the caverns. We were on a lot with a big tree. Very friendly, helpful staff. Older bathroom/showers, but clean. Didn't take time to use the pool but it looked nice, in it's own building.

Nice Stay
At the last minute we decided to stop in Carlsbad and they had an opening. We were pleased to get a nice level site, plus the front office was very accommodating. At 9pm we noticed we had no water pressure. We asked our neighbors if they had water pressure and they did not. We called the after hours number and within 15 minutes someone was there to fix the problem. Great service.

A Place To Stay For The Caverns
We stayed here for one night twice to and from Big Bend in March 2017. Pluses: 1) the people were friendly and they helped me with a problem. 2) this is a convenient stop to visit Carlsbad. Minuses: 1) this place is in need of maintenance. 2) the restrooms/showers are cleverly disguised as very cramped saunas with fixtures that need maintenance... hot, humid. The same shower that was out of service in March is still OOS. 3) LOTS of permanent residents including the oil field workers and they don't burn daylight .... traffic starting at 5:30am. I would have rated this 2 stars, but they helped me with my problem. Gravel and mostly level. Picnic table and no fire pit. Some sites are relatively spacious, and others it's 2' from your slide to the neighbor. 25' trailer 3 nights.

Okay For A One Night Stand
Sites are level gravel. They are very close together. Cable and WIFI barely work. Pool and bathrooms outdated and not very clean. Don't expect to be able to pull through your pull through site, as they divide them in half and most are sold to permanent residents. On the brighter side, Dominoes delivers and it's close to the caverns.

Pretty Good
We didn't use the shower or bathroom here. Did use the indoor pool which was hot being nearly 100 degrees outside. We did have the best spot on the park however. Grassy area for our old pooch. They do have a game room for the kids but we didn't use. Did use laundry facilities... expensive! Nice folks run the place.

Bathrooms need to be renovated, it is outdated and dirty. The tent site is close to the road

Good One Nighter
People were super friendly, led us to the site. Site was gravel, reasonably level, picnic table, utilities were center located, a little short to keep 25' trailer coupled to the truck but it worked. Some road noise. Permanent oil field residents. Restrooms/showers are being renovated (much needed). Reservations .... early March and it was booked!

Close To Carlsbad Caverns
He stayed here for 1 night after visiting the Caverns, which were about a 20min drive from the rv park. Staff was super friendly and spaces are ok, under trees and with picnic benches. The facilities need updating, particularly the showers. Something's up with the power too, our power went out in the middle of the night.

RV'S not needed
Nice people, but poor electric hookups. Working on electric issues. They had pumping problem so bathrooms, and the swimming pool was not available.
The bathrooms were in poor shape, and unclean.
They don't need RVers.
They have all of the oil workers, and permanent residence they need.
