An older RV park. The roads are narrow and the sites are small. The topography slopes and to make the sites level the pads have drop offs. Easy to take misstep and fall.
They should redo the entire park with today's bigger rigs in mind. We will not return.

Good location but aged and tiny park with no where to park your tow vehicle unless you want to walk a couple hundred yards and leave your TV in the casino parking lot over night, (really?)...how can you charge for an RV site with not a place to park much less forget about rolling out the awning, all the time packed in by permanent tenants. Look elsewhere.

Love This Town!
Park was great. Quiet and trees to give it a neat atmosphere.
Really good area, enjoyed Virginia City and a drive to Lake Tahoe. Francisco’s Mexican Restaurant down the street was wonderful!.
Stop and enjoy this beautiful area.

NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY
Each space is paved with a small grassy area and tree. Because the town of Minden is small, the traffic noise dies down at night and the noise isn't bad. With that being said, the negatives are numerous. The park is enterance not well marked and therefore easy to miss. I wound up having to back track and still went in the wrong enterance. The registration process is made difficult, because of the need to walk into the casino, it is a real pain at the end of a long day. The park IS NOT BIG RIG FRIENDLY! The roads between the rows are only 16' wide. That is fine if your total length is 45' or less, anything longer and manuevering is very difficult or impossible. I am 62' hitched up, and 66'+ unhitched. I was fortunate to be able to pick my spot on the end, and was able to back out of the space and exit around the wider perimeter road. The parking for my tow vehicle was off-site in the casino parking. Most of the other vehicles parked in the already narrow streets. Good Sam and/or AAA.

In Need Of A Better Registration System
Not a short walk to casino to register! Especially, at night...they have a booth at the entrance, it should be easier to register.
We stopped in at the end of a long day of driving. Needed a place to stop as 2 of our 3 kids were having issues with asthma. Needed power to run both nebulizers at once. My husband and I both had to walk to register as it was not a friendly walk through the parking lot at night. Having to leave our kids in the trailer, to take the time to walk over to go register! (One over 18)
The employees at the desk acted like we were interrupting their party. As we were leaving they made a comment and all started laughing. Not very professional! We had called ahead to reserve a spot. But, actually had to go in to run our credit card.
The spots are tight! This was not a good experience...we will never stay there again!
This was July 2017...hopefully they’ve improved their registration process by now!

Nice
This is as nice as can be expected from a city campground. Hookups work well, decent scenery, paved site. Most important - fast internet.

Long Walk To Register
Small spots barely fit my 34 ft trailer and I couldn't put my slide outs out or it would be in the road. Called and they said it was $33.75 a night. When I got here it was 48$. Laundry is 1.50 and 1.00 for wash and dry.
