Good and Bad
Park itself was nice. But having to pay an extra $12 a day park fee was a little hard to swallow. Hey, Nebraska, just charge for the campsite whatever you need to charge to camp there and be done with it.

So Nice!
It was a great place to stop! The lady we spoke to answered our call after hours and gave us a great spot easy in and out! Would definitely come back on our way north again!!

Wisconsin/Truck Camper
Called ahead, talked to Amelia, she said one electric site left. She was super sweet and very helpful with directions. We raced there and the site was still open. Area 3 site 1. Nice, spacious, shady site. Only vault toilets here. No water hookup. Had to drive to 2 different areas for shower and dump station. Not too far though. Shower was warm and good pressure. Not very private. Could use update. Apparently there was wood available at station but we didn't have a fire. Quiet at night. Good us cellular service. Arrived on a Saturday around 4 p.m. plenty of non Electric sites left. For 15 each. We paid 25 for the electric. Plus 8 for day fee.

The park itself is very nice. We PD $25 for 30amp plus $8 per a vehicle per day. nicely paved sights with generous space in between. UNTIL we found almost every other (more) sights had 3 to 4 vehicles per campsite and I will say about 10 or more people on a site. Seems as though no control or restrictions here. The restrooms are way gross too

Pawnee Area 4
Beautiful, shaded sites. All backin with varying rates. We had to take a picture at the entrance to remember which site charged what. Prices now range from $15 - 30 (depends ơn electric needs) and then out of state must add $8 to price. That's the reason for 3 stars...nice, quiet but price going up and no sewer or water hookup at sites.

Great Find!
Like the reviews of past years, it’s a great place for a night or a week! Most bathrooms are pit toilets, but apart from that, it’s wonderful! On so quiet.... with trees and open spaces and a variety of choices for hookups or none... all surrounded by a lake that is good for swimming and fishing and boating. For our mid-week stay, we found plenty of space to ourselves.

Lovely, Close To Lincoln
Well-maintained. Lots of shade, paved backin pads. Good 30/50 amp electricity. Water may be 150' away, so bring lots of hose or fill up your fresh tank. Good bank fishing, 10" to basic groceries in Emerald.

All back in so if you want to pull through you'll have to go somewhere else. I think the rate is $20 or less depending on what you get.
