Great Camp Ground
It is pricey for an overnight stay but it has a lot of amenities for kids and fur baby parents👍🏼
It would be great to stay a couple of days there.
The road noise was minimal, sites are nicely spaced apart, bathrooms clean and property maintained well👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Good Choice
We stayed here three nights and were happy with our choice. We had one of the big rig pull thru sites for our 36ft TT. Of course it fit with plenty of room and was fairly level. Not a lot of grass as the summer heat was winning that battle.
They’ve got a huge dog park and lots of scheduled activities available for the kids. The bathrooms are dated, but very clean. The city water is great and so was the water pressure.
There are a lot of tall trees to shade the sites. It’s very close to I80, but road noise wasn’t an issue.
It’s a bit of a stretch if you visit Omaha (45 min) and just about 5-10 from campus and Memorial Stadium. Lastly, needed to fill up before leaving and had to go to SIX (yes six) gas stations before I found one that sold diesel. Not the campgrounds problem, just be aware.

Nice Place
Stayed a night, would stay longer. Friendly and helpful staff. Seems like a lot going on and not far from campus. Will be back if we go that direction again.

Overpriced
Not a bad campground. Staff is super friendly, but they charge extra per kid. The sites are decent and the tree coverage is nice, but all the nice stuff is negated by the road noise. It's right off the freeway and it's loud. On top of charging per kid, you have to pay for wrist bands per kid to enjoy all the stuff that's there for kids i.e. inflatable water slide, water balloon war, train ride etc.. we won't stay again unless it's a splurge for my kids. The road noise is not worth the price.

Lincoln, NE
Stayed for five days the second week of November. I'd imagine it would be a fun spot during football weekends. Probably could use a few updates, but overall adequate. Check out our travel blog: http://triplelacres.com/Lillback1/

Stayed 3 Day
We had a great time. Grandkids with us for 2 days. The water slide, pool, hot tub, bikes were all great. Best money spent was $4.00 for 40 balloons that the kids then filled and launched at each other. I haven’t laughed that hard in long time! Dog park is very big with a second area sectioned off. Great play area with swings and basketball area.

Family friendly
We stopped at this campground just passing through on our way home back from our family vacation. We were looking for somewhere for the night where we could stop and relax and our 3 boys could play and burn off some energy. I was nervous because this site offered mixed reviews for this campground, but after staying here my family had nothing but great things to say about it. It was very clean, well landscaped, employees were super friendly and offered recreation for our kids even on a Monday night. Yes there was a code for the bathrooms but even my 7 yr old could handle it and they were very clean bathrooms and showers. They offered a nice pool and hot tub that we found clean and nice lounge chairs around it. They did charge for an additional wrist band that was $11 for extra activities like a train ride, jump pad, hoop pad, etc. but since we were only there 1 night we didn't bother. Our kids enjoyed the tether ball, connect 4, pool and chess that were all free. Great find!

Stayed for 1 night on way to CO. For what they have to offer, didn’t think it was overpriced at all. We chose water & electric only and was charged only $47.50 with a club discount. Holiday weekend as well. Lots of green grass and our spot was gravel and very level. Picnic table and fire pit. Decent amount of space between campers. Yes we were in spot near Hwy but we had air on and it didn’t seem to bother us. Lots of activities for kids. People at desk were very friendly and store well stocked. Would definitely come back again.

Convenient to Lincoln
Yes, it is right next to the hwy, so noise is constant. A berm near the upper park helps to buffer the noise some. We simply played ocean sounds at night, problem solved. Lovely lot with great shade, nice sized lots, large dog park and lots of kids entertainment. By far the best location for exploring Lincoln, easy drive to everything. Packed gravel worked just fine for our 40ft 5th wheel. Rained a great deal during our visit but the drainage is very good, so no problem. Looking forward to staying again.

Not Impressed At All
Stayed at Camp Away for 2 nights the summer of 2017. Thought it was expensive for what was offered. The pool was dirty and the bikes for the kids you needed to rent ($10.00/hour). Paying over $40.00/night to camp you think that would be included. The lady at the counter had a hard time figuring out the computer reservation system and wasn’t real friendly. Would have given a 4 star rating if we would have gotten a smile and maybe a “thank you for staying with us or we appreciate your business ”. Probably won’t go back there after our experience.

It is a nice CG if u have kids, but for 2 older couple for 1 nite, 61.00 with the discount is a little much

If you have kids this park had a ton to do! Every year that we go back they put lots of money into adding new things. They do a lot of maintenance on the park and keep it looking nice. During peak season they have lots of activities. The on-site store has great prices. Their computer system for reservations seems to cause some trouble and be difficult for them to use but the rest of the park is great! Prices can be a little high during the peak season but you do get a lot that comes with. For kids they have a playground, chess set with 24" pieces, 4 foot connect 4. With an $11 that lasts all weekend you get access to the pool, zoom floom water slide, bounce pad, and bikes. The dog run is good size as well.

Biggest Ripoff Ever!
I called while on the road Saturday to see if they had space for TWO nights and was told they did so I reserved it. It took mow than 10 minutes for the gal to take all my information. Nebraska was playing at home against Wisconsin so the park was pretty full, especially for this time of year. Today (Sunday) a young man called to tell me checkout time was 1:00 and did I want to stay another night. I told him the gal who took my reservation understood I was here for two nights and it would be $86. I thought that was a bit high but there aren't many choices around here. He said the $86 was just for Saturday night!!!!! Price goes up (double) for home game nights. My objections fell on deaf ears. I have never been raped like this. The name of the park should have told me - Camp Away, far away.

Great Place!!
Incredibly nice people. We had a breakdown and the were so nice to let us stay in our spot one more night even though they were full and expecting another guest for our spot. Great pool, and other activities. Great spot. Highly recommended!

Adorable Campground, Great Location
We stayed here over Memorial weekend. We had the ultra patio next to the dog run and playground. It was a massive spot! We loved it!! A swing, table and chairs, grill, fire pit, landscaping. Friendly neighbors. Bike really talk were fun. Pool was clean and refreshing!!!! Employees were welcoming and friendly.
Only thing that needs some help would be the hot tub. Peeling, seedy, moldy filters lying around, and oddly placed space heater right next to the hot tub (dangerous). Dying plants, green mildew string on the ducky thermometer. And to top it off... hot tub water was like a cold bathtub temp. Yuck.
But regardless of the hot tub. We would definitely stay again!
