Campground is owned by a non-profit land conservation group that owns and manages tracts of land around the Wildlife Refuge. It's an alternative to camping down by the river in the BLM campground, or disbursed camping on public land.
Host was friendly. Facilities are OK.
No shade though.

Nice New Park
Tent sites 15$, 30 amp 31$, 50 amp 36$, cabins 60$. Bath house closed due to covid 19 so only the RV section is open, and only to self contained rigs. There is good clean potable water to fill right across from the camp host. A dump station as you leave, each site has 30/50 amps and a picnic table. No fires allowed because it is windy pretty regularly, so don't go away with your awning out. There is good wifi but it doesn't currently reach all sites. The host is in the process of putting it up higher so it will reach farther. Maximum stay of 7 days out of 30. Great views. No trees. 2 mile walking path with information plaques along it. You can hear the highway but just barely, and at night there is almost no traffic. Campground is about 1/2 mile off the highway on good gravel road. Great star gazing area.
