Another USFS gem. Really spacious campsites. Paved, level sections for trailers. Clean vault toilets. Pretty setting except for the forest fire smoke. You can hear the road but it quieted down after dark.

Great Stopover spot
Worth the short drive from Missoula for an inexpensive overnight option. (Rolled in on a Friday night at 8pm and several spots open). Some road noise, but not terribly busy. Better for smaller RVs and trailers, though some pull thru spots for longer rigs. Site #16 is a cool one but only for smaller rigs or tents. We stayed in #12, and while close to pit toilet, not bad odor wise. Plenty of water stations around camp too. Friendly host.
