All sites are at least partially shaded and are roomy with options for tent placement. Each space has a small pull through parking area, most with trees to provide small privacy. We used a tent and had no problems but it looked difficult for those using camping trailers or RV's to fit around this relatively short and narrow area. Large stones separate the parking from the remainder of the site, so backing in isn't possible. Despite proximity to the main road way, it's pretty quiet. Shared bear proof food storage available. No reservations, but most mornings, several sites open up and if you get there early enough and ask people to make sure they are leaving that day, you can usually grab one. We showed up at 07:30 and were able to have our pick of several as people were getting ready to move on. Bathrooms were clean but dark, even midday. Short walk to picnic area at the creek and free in-park shuttle stop. A great base camp for exploring Glacier Park!
