Not Worth The Price of Admission
I picked this place because of the previous reviews and the photos posted on the website. The photos should be considered false advertising as it does not look like they show now!!! This place has truly gone down hill and I definitely would not recommend or ever return to this park! The pool was cloudy, the pond was covered with moss, there are mice running around in the laundry room, the sites are a mixture of some gravel, dirt and weeds. We had to go to the office because our site did not have a table on site. The roads through out are dirt and dust kicks up when vehicles drive by. To call this place a "Resort" is absurd!!

One Night Stop
Overpriced
Staff was courteous and lead us to our spot.
30 amp pedestal too close to the ground.
Water on wrong side of site, with a y connector shared with neighbors connection.
Sewer hook up available properly plumbed.
Level enough to remain connected.
Lots of sites full of long term sites.
We will not stay there again.

Nice. Enjoyed our overnight stay on our way west. Quiet and pretty with trees, pond and a little creek. We had plenty of room for our 42 foot rig and tow. The gravel pull through was level with a grassy area on either side. We didn’t use facilities so can’t remark on condition. Only draw back was the spotty Wi-Fi which we paid extra for. It worked well when we first arrived , but couldn’t get signal during the peak evening hours.

They raise their rates to $60 a night we’ve always weren’t there but it’s not worth $60 a night we are going elsewhere

Enjoyed Our Stay
This place was everything it said and more. First thing is how nice and accommodating the staff was while we were there. I am looking forward to going back and bringing our grandkids.

Old But Great
This is a older park and you can tell but it is great. The staff is very friendly and there is always something to do. From the lake to fish the pool the playground and all the activities they do, it is alway a great time. We will keep coming back

$650
Not so great
Ok they are fairly expensive i stayed for a month it was 650, granted they have activities and attractions for kids like a small pool, game room, play ground, and other things.
The place i jam packed, you are between a busy highway and the interstate plus the occasional train going by. The staff is nice and they have free coffee in the general store

Old with permanent trailers
Old infrastructure. Buildings in poor shape. Does not honor Good Sam or other discounts. Gravel sites close together and tight. Difficult to park a truck or tow vehicle. Many trailers set up on permanent basis with weeds growing around them, tarps over some, makeshift storage sheds next to many. No free WiFi. You can pay for WiFi on hourly basis. No cable. I will not stay here again. Not worth the expense.

Our Frist Outing In Our Rv
We loved the full hook ups and the nice quite beautiful campgound with lots of things to do and very clean bathhouses with laundry onsite. Host helped from taking us to our site to ground guide while we backed. Very classy place well worth the $45 per night.

Not Pleased
We paid for a premium spot but we received a lease pleased premium spot. We were at least a 1/4 of a mile away from the showers, bathrooms etc.

Had a great time. Enjoyed the live music on Saturday night. Had fun in the nearby creek with kids. Helpful staff to get you settled in since it’s a big park. Things that could be improved are speed limits so you don’t get dusted out, less algae in the pond, and not so tight proximity to other campers. Still worth 5 stars. We enjoyed ourselves!

A nice RV park
This is a nice RV park. The store was well stocked and open late considering the season. It had a large game room.

Has It All
I like this campground for many reasons. We stopped here so we could go to Six Flags St. Louis. It happen to be a Halloween themed weekend so the place was decked out with decorations, this made it extra inviting. We have two nine year olds and they would never be bored here. They have a pool, game room (which is always important for my kids) nice playground, fishing, bike rental, kids activities, and lots of open areas to run and ride bikes. We also explored the grounds for the Paint Ball game that is on sight which had been turned into a "Haunted Forest". My son thought this was super cool. I like it for the following reasons:
-Friendly and helpful staff -Mature grounds with lots of trees
-Some sites can be a little close together but they have a lot of nice open areas that are very pretty
-Bathrooms and showers were clean -LP gas service
-mini golf (although it needed to be blown clean from leaves and twigs
Yes, not super modern buildings but overall a very nice place.

Very Helpful and Friendly
I'm doing a cross country road trip in my electric car with two cats and a tent... so I am incredibly thankful to the kind ladies at Pin Oak who made this stop incredibly easy. The facilities are clean and stocked.

Older Campground but Nice Place
We stayed here for a weekend getaway and we had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our site was great and was very spacious, I saw other spots that were packed in pretty tight though. Our 3 kids loved the pool, it was clean and well kept. The playground was older but in working order and acceptable. The putt-putt golf was a lot of fun, it could use a little maintenance and would be nice if they swept it periodically to clear the leaves, branches and debris. The lake has LOTS of moss in it making it hard to fish without having to clean off your hooks after every cast. The grounds were well kept and clean. The bath houses and laundry areas were clean and well kept for their age. The game room is nothing fancy, but it was fun to play air hockey and skee ball. I completely agree with another reviewer about needing a curfew for the golf carts. Overall nice campground with fun activities. Area around lake was very nice & peaceful. We would definitely return!

Our stay was wonderful. When we arrived there was a thunderstorm that was heading in and when I went in the office to confirm our stay a staff member escorted my husband to the campsite so he could get set up before the storm hits and the staff member came back to the office and picked me up and took me to our campsite . Very pleasant staff. This is our first time staying here,we will return

Nice park. Lots of trees. Level spots. Lots of kids in the pool. Wifi/Internet managed by an outside company, so they want your CC number. Good for an overnight stay, but call ahead.

Please Curfew Golf Carts
This is a older Campground. It is very nice all the staff are very helpful overall it's very nice I would give it 4 stars but they need to put a curfew on golf carts, kids and adults drive them all day all night and you camp in the Dust Bowl. Overall I will Camp there again

Older campground. Friendly and helpful staff. A lot of activities and space. Good for single night or long-term stay. Wife and kids said that their bathroom and showers had mildew that needed some serious work, but I found the men's bathroom and showers to be entirely acceptable. Wish we would have had more time to stay longer and try some of the activities.
