Great For Kids
We stayed 2 nights and had a great time. Lots of things to do for kids, they have a dog park, our electricity died and they immediately send someone to fix it, and the mining station for kids is awesome. You have to buy a bag of “dirt”, lowest price $10 and then wash out the gems or fossils. You get a good amount of gems for your money.

Too Expensive
In years past we always stayed here when visiting family in STL. This park has become way over priced. $79 a night for a gravel lot.

Close To Six Flags
Stayed here two nights. Nice clean park. Some sites didn’t look level but ours was. Gravel roads and sites with lots of trees. They led us to our site which helped. Nice pool and recreation area. Close to six flags. We would stay here again

Lots of space, poor signage and lighting
We pulled in late and had a very difficult time finding the right lane to drive down, and the right spot to pull into, and how far forward to pull to clear the gravel lane behind the gravel camp site. It was pretty tempting to grab a different empty spot that was clearly delineated with pavement.
I'm not sure if we will stay here again.

We loved our stay in July 2019. Lovely pool, jumping pillow and trains passing which my boys were thrilled about. Beautiful store and laundry facilities. Lovely campground. Definitely staying again. Tent campers here. Lovely bathroom and shower facilities, super clean and updated.

Totally Big rig Friendly
Stayed here a week in October 7-14. Very maneuverable thru the park with my 43ft coach pulling a 24 foot enclosed car trailer. Very friendly staff. Traffic is noisy during the day. Train rolls at night, sometimes blowing its whistle. By the second night we slept soundly. Lots of room for slides and camping chairs.close to 6 flags also. Will stay here again.

Trip Across America
Stayed two nights here so we could go into see The Gateway to the West National Park in St. Louis! Campground staff was very friendly and it was a nice park, nice pool and lots of things for kids to do! Only thing that was bad was the traffic noise on Old Route 66 but it died down at night. The worst think is right on the other side of the road was the railroad tracks and the trains were quite noisy! It is very close to Six Flags St. Louis if you’re looking for someplace close! Would stay here again! Only giving it a three because of the price and noise!

Very Nice KOA
Wonderful KOA! Lots of stuff for kids to do. Pool, jumping pillow, playground, ATV pulled caterpillar rides, wading in the shallow river. Well maintained, shaded spaces with lots of variety of sites. Nice little mini mart with a variety of items (a little on the expensive side, but you pay for the convenience).

Raised Price Too High - Expensive
We have camped here for years when visiting family in SLT because it was in the best location. This KOA has continued to increase it‘s price. I stayed here 5/31/19 for two nights and the cost for 50 amp full hookups was $70 a night. That is crazy expensive in my opinion. They have made a lot of upgrades to the park and offer a lot for kids but I don’t use any of those services. This was my last stay. I will camp somewhere else cheaper and drive a little further.

Overnight Needs Fulfilled
Snow hit the day before we arrived. Framed by cabins, this modest sized campsite sits just south of StLouis so good if you have things you need to do in town. Just a little hard to manipulate inside, larger sites available on the ends of the rows. Husb says bathroomsclean and modern., nice people.

Very Helpful !
I pulled in here on January 8, 2017.
I had a new class c rv that was still winterized.
Arriving here, it was 39 degrees out.
The staff was fantastic!
I got de-winterized and everything was great !
I went to Arizona for the winter...
Thank you !

Finishing a 5 night stay while visiting family in the STL area . They have a lot for kids to do, excellent dog park, and a extreme clean pool area. If you need to go to six flags, this is close to the entrance, along with fuel, walmart and other place to see and do..

Had A Good Time
We stayed for 7 nights in July 2016 and found this campground one of the best for us. We were camping with our daughter and 2 grandsons. The boys loved the pool and scooter/bikes that they had here. We were able to visit family in northwest and south county with ease with easy access to hwy 44. You even get one admission to the Six Flags with your site although that may be a limited thing. Looking forward to seeing the new premium sites when we come back.

We stayed here on Dec 4, 2015 after purchasing our first RV in St Louis and wanted to spend a night nearby to make sure we wouldn't have any issues. We arrived after dark and didn't have a chance to experience the park to its fullest, but we did walk it the next morning and were impressed with the condition of the property. There are several cabins and the owners are making a lot of improvements in and around them. The manager had a guy take us to our site who then helped us hook up to the electric, since we'd never done that. The pad a bit up level, but I think had we backed up a bit, it would have taken care of it. We didn't hear road noise. Can't comment on wifi since we didn't use it. Manager was friendly and recommended a couple restaurants in Eureka. There are a few full-timers on the edges and a cool old cemetery next to the property. Would stay here again.
