We stayed 3 days at this park and after traveling to more than 25 parks for he last 2 months , this park is hands down the best. Well cared for. The wildlife outside the door every morning and night, the elk and bison across the lake. Peace and quiet is the norm. The facilities were clean the park manager was a warm and friendly. With a senior or military discount, even better.

Nice, Quiet Park
Enjoyed our recent 3 night stay. 2 nights during the week were very quiet with mainly retirees camping. The last night was Friday night & many of the retirees left & the Campground filled up with young families. Still quiet during the nighttime & early morning hours. Pads are fairly level, yet some leveling was required. We had full hook-up & everything was good except the water pressure was very low, which made for interesting showers in our 5th wheel. They do have a new Bathhouse, which was VERY nice, clean & a great set-up, especially for families. 4 personal unisex bathrooms, including shower, sink, toilet & LOTS of room! Park attendants were very nice & helpful! Would definitely stay here again!

Small Treasure
This park is on the small side and that’s the beauty of it. You can easily gather friends for joint cookouts and explorations. Fantastic location to easily reach Unity Village and Kauffman Stadium. The best part: a bathhouse opened in January 2018. Stainless steel parts mean the toilets will survive a long time yet remain easy for attendants to clean. BTW, the attendants pay close attention to the cleanliness of the park and provide a trove of local information.
