Nice, Quiet And Ticks!
Owners/staff very nice. Nice and quiet. Mostly locals camp here. Has been so darn rainy, that the ticks were insane. Guessing it was a recent hatch judging by the size of those tiny ticks. 3 on me and some on the dog, but could not find them on him until they fell off,so tiny. Bath house is very rustic. They do have a pool and fishing ponds.

Off Of Normal Path..
It's off of the I-70 about 2 miles. The last 1.5 miles are on a bumpy gravel road. We arrived and they were having a class reunion and live band. I ask to be far away from the band and the did their best. Got good sleep. They have alot of permit campers. Everyone nice. Just remember it's in the woods. Would be hard to get satellite TV thru all the trees. No internet. But Verizon 4g LTE worked fine

Nice
A little off the beaten path but worth the extra time. We happened to be here during a BBQ cook off competition so for $10 bucks extra we also got all the chicken wings we could eat! Nice! The campground is clean and well kept and the owner was very helpful. We arrived late but he went out of his way to make sure we got set up and fed at the wing cook off.

$18
You Get What Ya Pay For
18 bucks for camp, electric, and kittens running around at night. Quiet, access is down a long dirt road, but close to I70 and Walmart. The camp store features "mystery brown bags" of beer, 3 for $3. Stay here for adventure and a story!
