Such Potential. But Failed

Very accommodating and friendly during making reservations and upon arrival. One of the camp hosts on the North end of the park drives around the campground like an Indy driver. Don’t get in front of her or she’ll tailgate you really bad. The property could make a great campground but it’s all gravel and not the most level. The gravel dust get on everything and everywhere. Has way too many long term residents that really trash the place up. A few have built fenced in areas around the front of their trailers. So it appears there’s no rules on what the residents can do. Including piles of junk around. Sewer hookups are located next to your neighbors front area and within a few feet of their picnic table. Poorly set up. A new section has just been added and unfortunately they didn’t learn anything from the initial setup and made the same mistakes, but adding more gravel to take away from the limited grassy area. You’re located close to the highway so you get all the noise.

BEAUTIFUL??? Huh?

Sites are close to each other and not level, no trees to provide any shade and a dusty gravel road. Have a lake with some playground equipment. Long term residents mostly, one actually had a clothesline at their site. The only thing beautiful is their web site and the colorful map of the campground. Did not use the showers or laundry so i can’t comment on those. The WiFi worked but it should for $60 plus a Good Sam discount. I have been RVING for a few decades and this is nothing special. They have a few open sites for stop-ins and the rest look like they are for permanent residents. The camping options are scarce so it’s acceptable for an overnight stop.

We are on our way to Colorado and stopped for the night. This is a fantastic place to stay. Absolutely perfect! The staff was super friendly, the facility and grounds are all new. This was a former Hunt Club. Two lakes and beautiful rolling hills. Highly recommend! This will be our go to place.

Very beautiful park hidden down a gravel road. Don’t let the gravel road fool you, it is a very beautiful resort with 2 lakes, cabins restrooms were very clean and new. Can’t say enough about the staff they were very helpful as the party we were traveling with had vehicle problems and the lady at the office help us find a good mechanic. Would love to go back and spend a few days.

Very pleasant, clean lots of open space and 2 lakes to relax by. Peaceful and Pretty. Had a great nights sleep. Gravel roads. 5/16/20

Beautiful property

Nice campground located on a beautiful property. 2 lakes for fishing, 1 with a dock. Restrooms and shower house were new and extremely clean.
