Great little campground just o.ff the Natchez Trace about 20 miles South of Tupelo Mississippi. Level camper sites, mostly beside the lake. Great fishing. The Forest Service drained the lake about 20 years ago and stocked it with the Florida strain Largemouth Bass. The lake also had plenty of Crappie, Walleye, Shell crackers and Bluegill.
They have good bath houses with showers, restrooms and laundry, but they could use a little more daily cleaning.
Campground is open year round

Hidden Gem!
This is a small but great campground! Has sites directly on the water so you can pull your boat right up to the site. The lake is small but still big enough for water skiing. They only allow a wake Fri-Sun 12:00 to 6:00. Very friendly staff.

I wish they would brush the cobwebs of the walls of the shower house, inside and out. We are ok in the MH, but I feel sorry for the those in tents.
Fine sites and views. 50, 30, 20 amp and water, with dump station. Quiet. Near Natchez Trace.
Fishing is great. Small boats allowed, no wake. There's also a swimming area with lots of locals.
