Great Place
This is a very beautiful place that was practically empty during our visit. It was first come first served at $20 a night. Plenty of sites for our 40' coach on the upper loop. The lower loop with sites 1-12 is not as easy to navigate. It has 30 Amp, 50 Amp, and water at each site. The restroom was clean and the shower was hot.

Stayed here for 6 nights. Have had an amazing time. First come first serve. Plenty of spots to choose. Clean, quiet, private, just what we needed from the hustle and bustle of life. Not sure about the lower levels of camp sites but site 18 had cell service but after a hard rain it got muddy and we moved to campsite 14 and found the cell service was even better. We are in a 22 ft RV and water & electric hook ups were awesome. Pulling the RV to the dump station, 4 days in, was a breeze. That’s when we made the campsite switch. Our only complaint is the amount of horseflies. We will make Clear Springs NF another stop in the future

If this place had full hook ups I would never want to leave. Beautiful park, bath house is clean and has a nice natural trail around the lake. There is also a longer nature trail through the forrest, we did not hike it.

Lower Loop Campground
Camped in Space 2 of the Lower Loop campground. It was best space of the 12 sites available in the Lower Loop and the 10 sites available in the Upper Loop. Woke to views of the lake and wildlife from that site. Each site is spacious and level, has a fire ring, picnic table, and electric and water hook ups. The nearby showers/restroom (two of each) are nice, clean (thanks to the GG Host) and in good repair. Best part, other than the views, was that I had the entire lower loop to myself! There is a dump dump station just after the fee area as you’re leaving the CG. Sites are $26/$13 with ATB Sr Pass.
As another reviewer stated, before forewarned: there is no cell service. However, I was able to send texts while roaming.
I’m always attracted to campgrounds that have hiking trails and Clear Springs Lake CG has many. Unfortunately, I found ticks on both Spock and I on the very first hike we did. That’s the only reason I ended decided to leave and move on.

Hidden Gem
Hidden a few miles off the highway. Honor system check in. Water and electric only. Only one side to the left is pet friendly. Nice restrooms and showers. Needs some updating but still nice for an overnight stay. I can tell at one time it was a nice well maintained park.

Off The Grid Gem!
Forewarning you will not have cell service at this campsite.
This is a beautiful and very peaceful park. Its consist of two main loops (upper and lower) and a primitive section. The two main loops provide power and water hookups and are currently $20/night. The site is very far from the main highway so you wont have to worry about traffic noise. The park has 2 lavatories (one on each loop) which have nice warm showers! This is a beautiful park and a must try!
